Varanus (?) is a villain, and is one of the roughly seventy villains recruited by the League of Villains for the U.S.J. Incident, making him a minor antagonist of the U.S.J. Arc.

Varanus is a short man with a very distinctive hunchback and long neck, giving him a lizard-like appearance. He wears the skull of some sort of animal as a mask, red lines on his arms and wears green pants with a black belt.

Varanus is one of the horde villains who invaded the U.S.J. led by Tomura Shigaraki. Varanus joined in the attack against Shota Aizawa, but was defeated by the Pro Hero's Binding Cloth style shortly after Martial Hair's defeat. Varanus was later arrested alongside the other seventy recruited villains.
