Appearance[]
Untenmaru has a generally rectangular face shape. His black hair is short on the sides but comes to a swoop at the top. Untenmaru's eyes are narrow and typically furrowed, giving him a stern look. He has a notably large and white, fluffy mustache that parts in the middle accompanied by a strip of facial hair that is of the same color which lines his chin.
He is seen wearing a formal suit, composed of a dark jacket with a black dress shirt underneath and a white tie. As common for professional drivers, he also wears a pair of white driving gloves.
Personality[]
Untenmaru makes Katsuki shut up.
Not much is known about Untenmaru's personality, however, he comes off as rather aggressive as seen when he angrily shouts back at Katsuki Bakugo after the student makes a degrading comment towards Endeavor's car, actually making the impulsive and short-tempered boy stay quiet. He also does not hesitate to speak his mind in Endeavor's presence about his actions and who he associates with.
Synopsis[]
Endeavor Agency Arc[]
Once Endeavor's interns finish dinner at the Todoroki Abode, Untenmaru is present to drive the students and Endeavor to U.A. High School. On the road, Katsuki sharply comments on the size of Endeavor's car as he looks out the window, and, taking offense at his words, Untenmaru calls Katsuki a shameless freeloader, then loudly complains to Endeavor and criticizes his choice of passengers.[2]
Right after, the appearance of the villain Ending causes Untenmaru to angrily yell at Katsuki to bring his head back into the car as he forcefully swerves to avoid hitting the villain. As the students rush out after Endeavor to fight, Untenmaru sends them their equipment.[3]
When the battle ends and Endeavor makes his report to the police, Untenmaru advises the Hero to be more cautious with the two attacks that had targeted him in the span of a few days.[4]
Final War Arc[]
After the end of the Final War between the Heroes and Villains, Untenmaru takes his boss and his family to see Toya in prison, who was contained in a life support medical pod after he mutilated his body. Once the visit was over, Untenmaru and the Flaming Sidekickers are seen waiting for Enji and his wife, Rei Todoroki.[5]

- According to Untenmaru's Volume 26 profile:
- His favorite things are flowers.[1]
- Unlike other hired drivers, Untenmaru only caters to heroes specifically. He has an exclusive contract with Endeavor and the two have known each other for a long time.
- Untenmaru's catchphrase: "PAHHH!!" ("ZOUNDS!!" in the anime) was quite popular when Horikoshi was writing the draft for his debut chapter, which he found hilarious while drawing.
- Untenmaru shares his birthday with Tamaki Amajiki.
- Untenmaru's English voice actor, D.C. Douglas, also voices Sidero.
