U.A. Students vs. Chojuro Kon: Rematch is a battle fought between U.A. students Ingenium, Shoto, Red Riot, and Froppy against the villain Chimera during the Hero Work Recommendation Project.

Prologue[]

Slice and Chimera take care of Nine

Chimera and Slice take care of their leader.

Nine and his gang attacked Nabu Island with the intention of stealing the Cell Activation Quirk from Katsuma Shimano, causing their confrontation against the students of Class 1-A. During this first assault, Chimera faced several students effortlessly but is forced to retreat and seek refuged due to the illness of his leader. When he recovers, Nine, Chimera, and Slice are determined to take Katsuma no matter the cost.

For their part, the students also withdraw to attend to the wounded and provide assistance to civilians. Then, they organize a meeting to devise a strategy with which to defeat the villains. They had managed to capture one of them, but the other three still remain, and although they had already sent an SOS message, the help would take hours to arrive. Izuku devises an action plan that will consist of attracting Nine and their allies to Mount Shiroyama. While some students are tasked with protecting Katsuma, Mahoro, and the civilians, the rest will use the terrain to their advantage to separate the villains and defeat them individually.

Chimera dodges the cannon shots

Chimera dodges the cannon shots.

The next morning, Slice informs her allies that the students of the U.A. have sheltered all the inhabitants of Nabu Island in the vast underground caves under the ruins of Mount Shiroyama. When the students see the villains approaching, they put their plan into action. Yuga Aoyama and Momo Yaoyorozu start attacking them from afar with their respective Quirks at full power.

While Nine blocks the attack with his Air Wall Quirk, his allies break away from the blast. Chimera runs dodging the cannon shots, but a shot explodes near him and launches him off a cliff, though he lands unscathed near a waterfall. Here, Tenya, Shoto, Eijiro, and Tsuyu prepare to ambush him.[1]

Battle[]

Chimera ready to fight against the students

Chimera is ready to fight.

At the waterfall, Chimera realizes that the previous attack was to split his gang. Hidden underwater, Tsuyu uses her tongue to grab Chimera's leg and pulls him further into the river before Shoto freezes it. Tenya and Eijiro think their plan has worked but it was not enough to stop the villain, who comes out of the frozen river mocking them saying it wasnā€™t cold enough.

Chimera advises them to get ready, because unlike the last time, today he plans to fight seriously, and slightly increases his muscle mass, proclaiming that he is superior to them. Shoto replies that this time they will defeat him, Tsuyu and Eijiro prepare to fight, and Tenya activates his Recipro Turbo and tells his teammates that it will be over in 10 minutes.

Chimera blocks Eijiro's punch

Chimera blocks Eijiro's punch.

Eijiro and Tenya attack the villain with a series of kicks and punches. Chimera blocks Tenya's kick and pushes him aside, just to stop Eijiro's Red Gauntlet. Chimera tells him that his attacks are useless and throws Eijiro against a rocky wall. Shoto fights back with fire but Chimera uses his enormous force to generate a shock wave that counteracts the flame. Tenya attacks him again but Chimera blocks his kicks. Then Shoto uses his ice powers to freeze the villain inside a block of ice.

Chimera soon breaks the ice that imprisons him, telling the students that all his attacks are useless against him, but in the middle of his boast Chimera freezes up, as his body begins to paralyze. Todoroki slowly approaches him as he reveals to him that their previous attacks were part of a plan, as Tenya and Eijiro had covered their legs and arms with a special toxic mucus from Tsuyu's Frog Quirk, and every time he blocked their attacks, he is slowly poisoned, until the toxin effectively stops his body from moving.

Chimera expelling fire

Shoto struggles to counter against Chimera's fire.

Chimera admits it is a clever plan, but refuses to give up, and uses his Quirk to transform and grow his body bigger, nullifying the toxin. The villain expels from his mouth a powerful blast of fire at the four of them. Shoto attempts to make an ice wall to block it, but it isnā€™t enough, forcing the four heroes to flee to avoid the blast. Tenya grabs Shoto to push him out of the way from Chimera's blast as Tsuyu uses her tongue to wrap around Eijiro to save him. Chimera continues firing his blaze, destroying much of the surrounding environment, and setting fire to the forest.

The U.A. students take refuge under an embankment to avoid Chimera's attack. Pinned by Chimera, Eijiro is overwhelmed by his enormous power, Tsuyu wonders how they can get close to him, and Tenya begins to worry because his Recipro is reaching its limit. Then, Shoto comes up with an plan to defeat the villain and asks his classmates to create an opening. They all agree to collaborate

Eijiro activates Unbreakable to protect Shoto

Eijiro ready to protect Shoto at all costs.

First, Tenya uses his Engine Quirk to distract Chimera, running around him with his Recipro Turbo and dodging his fireballs. As Chimera continues to attack Tenya, Eijiro and Shoto sneak from behind. Acting as a human shield to protect his partner, Eijiro slides the frozen river along with Shoto. Eijiro can't help but compare that situation to when they rescued Katsuki in Kamino. Eijiro assures Shoto that he will endure Chimera's attacks, he just has to make sure to defeat him.

Chimera notices their presence and fires another blast to destroy them, but Eijiro activates his Ultimate Move: Unbreakable, to take the full-frontal hit from the blast. While holding Eijiro in front of him as a shield, Shoto tries to push forward as Eijiro withstands Chimera's burning beam. Despite the powerful attack, Eijiro manages to stand his ground long enough until Chimera finally exhausts his flaming breath and needs to recharge. Eijiro loses consciousness, giving Shoto the opportunity to strike.

Tsuyu restrains Chimera with her tongue

Tsuyu helps Shoto.

Shoto manages to lunge himself on top of the villain and remembering his father's words about increasing the temperature of his body to the limit to boost his fire, Shoto decides to follow his advice but using ice instead.

Chimera attempts to get Shoto off him, but Tsuyu restrains his hands using her long tongue. Then, he tries to hit him with his reptilian tail, but Tenya blocks the attack with a kick and holds the tail to the ground. Furious, Chimera prepares to fire another fire blast at point-blank range, but before he does, Shoto sticks his right hand into his mouth and activates his ice to freezes Chimera's entire body inside out with ice.

Shoto freezes Chimera

Shoto puts Chimera into hibernation.

As Chimera's fire and Shoto's ice collide, the villain swings wildly to shake the students off him. Chimera manages to get Tsuyu and Tenya to hit each other and knock both of them out, but Shoto takes the opportunity to increase his ice power to the limit, exceeding sub-zero temperatures, and freezing Chimera completely, achieving victory in that combat.

Eijiro, Tenya, and Tsuyu lose consciousness due to injuries and exhaustion. Before passing out from the cold temperatures in his body, Shoto wishes Izuku and Katsuki luck in their fight against Nine.[1]

Aftermath[]

Tenya, Tsuyu and Eijiro receive treatment for their injuries

Eijiro, Tsuyu and Tenya laugh at Shoto's expense.

While they are unconscious after the hard battle against Chimera, Izuku and Katsuki manage to defeat Nine, saving the island and its inhabitants in the process. After Class 1-A emerged victorious over the threat, the military and a large number of heroes arrive on Nabu Island, rescuing the civilians and medically treating Class 1-A. Endeavor joyously hugs his son, with the latter being clearly annoyed about it, causing his classmates to laugh.

The villains are arrested, and over the next several days, the students recover from their injuries and help with reconstruction tasks before returning to the U.A. High School.[1]
