Tsunagu Hakamada vs. Glutton God Gang is the battle between Pro Hero Best Jeanist against the villain Glutton God and his minions.[1]
Prologue[]
The recent clash against the Paranormal Liberation Front dealt a heavy blow to the Hero society. Although most of its members were captured, dozens of heroes died during the battles and hundreds of civilians also perished as a result. As if this were not enough, Tomura Shigaraki had managed to escape along with a few allies and Nomu, and without giving the heroes time to recover, they stormed Tartarus and other prisons in the country, freeing all their inmates, allowing them to go wild.
The remaining Pro Heroes were insufficient to solve the ever-increasing crime and violence escalation, and many citizens blamed them for the current situation. Not being able to withstand the pressure and criticism, many Pro Heroes decided to give up their jobs and shut down their offices, leaving places without protection, which is used by various villains to impose their authority. The Glutton God Gang is one of those new groups of villains that have decided to benefit from the new situation that the country is going through.[1]
Battle[]
Taking advantage of the lack of law and the almost total absence of heroes, Glutton God leads his gang to take over the commercial district, looting the shops and destroying the street furniture, as well as attacking any civilian who gets in their way. Certain that no one can stop them, Glutton God proclaims that the revolution has arrived and that he and his gang rules downtown. However, not all heroes have abandoned their duty.
Best Jeanist was driving Hawks to his mother's home when he spots the group of villains causing trouble. He immediately steers his car to deal with them, activating the attack systems of his vehicle to fire two long wires. Glutton God sees him approaching and attacks him by throwing a viscous substance that he generates with his Quirk, but Best Jeanist drives his vehicle to avoid the projectile with ease while using his Fiber Master Quirk to control the wires and apprehends all the Glutton God gang members.[1]
Aftermath[]
The Fiber Hero apologizes to the citizens that his still precarious state of health forces him to use such bombastic capture method, but they thank him and praise him for having dealt with the villains. Then he asks one of the passersby where the police and jurisdiction heroes are, but he tells him that none can come. The police already have their hands full with the escaped prisoners, while the heroes have shut down their agencies after all the criticism being lobbed at them.
Best Jeanist realizes that among the faces of admiration and appreciation of the citizens there are several ones with expressions of distrust and contempt towards him, some even wearing support items, which means that the distrust of a part of the citizenry towards the heroes is greater than they thought. Before leaving, Best Jeanist assures the people that he will dispatch some of his sidekicks to protect the neighborhood from more criminals.[1]
