The Trigger Bombs, also referred to as Quirk Factor Triggering Device by the scientists who created them, are chemical weapons used by Humarise.

The Trigger Bombs are weapons of mass destruction created by the anti-Quirk cult known as Humarise, being key pieces in their plan to protect Quirkless people from those affected by what they consider the "disease of Quirks", and thus save humanity. For this reason, Humarise members refer to these weapons as "Humanity Salvation Devices". The Trigger Bombs are activated from the Control Room at the main headquarters of the cult.

Trigger Bombs are large dark boxes that when detonated, release a large amount of gas that quickly and completely covers a large city. Said gas is composed of Ideo Trigger, an even more powerful variant of Trigger, which greatly enhances the Quirk Factor of those who breathe the gas, but also makes them lose control of their own powers, dying from the empowered drawbacks of their unruly Quirks or indirectly from the destruction they cause. The only ones immune to the gas are those that are Quirkless.

Those who breathe the gas lose control of their strengthened Quirks.

For the creation of the Trigger Bombs, Humarise kidnapped numerous scientists, such as Alan Kay and Eddie Soul, and took their families hostage to force them to develop the Trigger Bombs. Likewise, they also contacted dealers and traffickers from different parts of the world to obtain the necessary chemicals to produce large quantities of Ideo Trigger gas.
