Toshinori Yagi vs. All For One: Finale is a battle during the Final War that is the final confrontation between All Might and All For One.
Stain and Dynamight assist All Might in the later stages of this fight.
Prologue[]
In the aftermath of his first fight with All For One, All Might was gravely injured and hospitalized. Sir Nighteye used his Foresight Quirk to look into All Might's future and saw that in 6 to 7 years, All Might would face a Villain that would end up horribly killing him. The sidekick tried to warn him to retire, but the Number 1 Hero refused, as without him there'd be no Symbol of Peace. In the end, they both went their separate ways, with All Might eventually retiring after his second fight with All For One, and Nighteye later dying in the aftermath of the Shie Hassaikai Raid.
Before the borders between Japan and America were closed, Toshinori had ordered some imported support items to help in the coming fight against All For One and Tomura Shigaraki's forces. One of these items Toshinori came up with the specs for, and was specifically designed for him; The Armored All Might, created by Melissa Shield, the daughter of his old American partner David Shield.
As the Final War continued on, All For One was forced by Endeavor to use his last resort to survive, a reverse engineered Quirk-Destroying Drug created by Kyudai Garaki, allowing his body to rewind back into his prime, at the cost of him being unable to stop his own de-aging. Knowing that the vestige version of himself inside Tomura Shigaraki had been suppressed, the rewinding villain made a break to U.A. from the Gunga Mountains, in order to make sure that the merger between the two villains was completed. Despite the Heroes trying their best to wear him down and use up his rewinding state, they ultimately failed, with Hawks losing his quirk in the process. The villain knows how little time he has left before he rewinds into nothing, and continues his path towards Tomura.
The Counter Force try to take stock of the damage, putting out calls for any heroes who can still fight, and discover that Dabi, after being Warped to Gunga by Kurogiri, had been building up energy to blow himself up, along with everything in a 5 kilometer range. All For One speeds towards Tomura, and would soon be in range to use his Warping Quirk to bring Tomura to him. With things looking bleak and with no heroes being able to stop All for One, All Might decides to take action.
On his way, All Might contacts Shoto and Ingenium at Kamino Ward, and tells the two boys to rush over to Gunga to try and stop Dabi. Shoto is worried about All For One, but All Might assures him they've got a mighty ally in the wings. He tells Shoto that the young man won't be able to fight if he has any doubts, and that the two boys are the only hope for everyone in Gunga. Stain had also arrived in Kamino on a glider, and watches as Iida carries Shoto on his back at max speed to Gunga, acknowledging the young hero acting for the sake of others.
According to Hawks, while the De-Aging had boosted All For One's Power, he wasn't able to hold back on of his negative emotions or urges. Knowing this, All Might jumped into Hercules, and drives over to Ido City, planning on intercepting All For One on his way to Tomura. Tsukauchi tries to warn him against it, but All Might says it has to be this way, as this was always his fight. As All For One rushes closer to Ido, All Might knows that he must remember the endless warring that got them here. He knows Tomura's hatred had started affecting All For One's original body, and that the villain won't be able to ignore him.
All Might thinks back on Sir Nigheye's vision, and that if his prediction still holds true, then this is his final stand. He also thinks back to when he first met Izuku Midoriya, his desire to become a hero despite being quirkless, and with a proud smile against All For One's unbridled rage, summons the Armored All Might, shouting "I AM HERE!"
Battle[]
The briefcase All Might had been carrying begins to cover up his entire body, telling Hercules to roll the cameras that send the feed over to the Counter Force. La Brava immediately begins to live stream the fight, and broadcast it across the world. Tsukauchi believes no matter how many gadgets he has, a quirkless man can't defeat All For One, and tells La Brava to to stop the stream before they broadcast the death of a former hero stalling for time.
All For One knows that this is all just a ploy on All Might's part, and that they both know how this will end. Despite that, All Might continues smiling, which makes All For One lash out with an Impure Beam. All Might rushes forward, telling Hercules to summon "Red Riot" to protect his body from the coming blast. All For One is able to destroy several buildings behind All Might with his attack, but the armored hero survives and flies towards his opponent. Hercules lets All Might know that the shields were depleted by 66% and that there won't be a second chance to use them, but All Might remains undauntless.
All For One lost an arm in the backlash of his attack, and recognized All Might charging without dodging as his classic style. He charges at the incoming hero, saying the style only worked before because he wielded One For All. As the villain closes in, All Might unleashes several electrical wires that surround All For One, shocking him with the combined power of "Blackwhip" and "Chargebolt." The electric currents interfere with All For One's regenerating arm, as All Might uses "Cellophane" to real him in. All Might says that ever since his last fight with his master, Nana Shimura, All For One had made a habit of starting his fights with haphazard ranged attacks. While he calls "Sugarman" to his foot, All Might continues saying the villain loved to wear down others before stealing their quirks, but that type of fighting only works for people who have a quirk.
As the Counter Force continues watching, La Brava asks Tsukauchi if he's still certain of the outcome of the fight. All Might says the suit and car are here to keep him in the fight for just a little bit, and that he himself put in the design request. After his master's death, All Might had to take refuge in the states, made a friend there, and this was the fruits of that bond. Melissa is also watching the fight unfold back in the states. As he thinks back to his conversation with Izuku Modoriya about fighting fate, he tells All For One that all he's been blessed with will bear its weight against him. He begins to unleash a mighty Shoot Style Smash, and tells his archnemesis that they've known each other long enough that they both know All Might never rushes into battle expecting to lose.
As All Might unleashes a barrage of strikes, he admits it feels wrong for someone past 50 years of age like him to be pummeling a helpless kid. All Might knows All For One harbors a ferocious rage that hungers for One for All, which he is exploiting and is the only reason this fight is possible. He mocks All For One, saying that a real Demon Lord would be aghast at the sight of a quirkless man beating down someone like him. All Might is determined to keep his opponent in this obsessive delirium, so that he won't be able to tear his eyes from him. All For One begins to charge a combined attack of Spring-ify, Brawn Boost, Air Cannon, Rivet Stab, Dark Ball and Impure Beam, unleashing the combination to destroy everything in front of him. All Might is blasted through the buildings behind him, but was able to protect himself with the Utility Cape Auto Guard: "Dark Shadow".
All Might takes this as a sign that he's pushing the right buttons and that he needs to keep riling him up, but Hercules tells All Might that the cape was destroyed, and that that there are fractures in his clavicle and left humerus. All Might tells his armor to set movement assist to maximum, as All For One flies over to All Might's location. The villain mocks All Might, and that he's mistaken if he thinks this armor will be able to let him fight. He calls All Might a piece of trash, that his armor acts as a trash bag and his gadgets are gone once he destroys them. All Might thinks back to when Izuku had asked Hatsume to build him support gloves, and how the young man shouldn't rely on support items too much. He says that great minds think alike, as he thinks back to his first meeting with Nana Shimura before charging back into battle and punching the villain in the face.
All For One is able to tank the hit, saying he did not fall for All Might's ploy to stall him; that he can spare the time to clean up the trash that is All Might. He rebounds All Might with a blast of energy, the hero knowing full well that the villain is desperately trying to play it cool, as Hercules launches another support gear to All Might's side, Superacid Injection: "Pinky", which he injects directly into All For One. The acid damages All For One from the inside, All Might tells him that he'll dissolve away into nothing. As All Might is reminiscing more about his chance encounter with Nana Shimura, All For One, in pure rage, blasts him over to Tatooin Station, where the armored hero tumbles onto the top of a building.
The Counter Force realize that All For One is even closer to U.A., but he's veered off course to pursue All Might instead. As the villain makes his way to the hero, Hercules tells All Might that he fractured his ribs and has full body contusions and respiratory malfunction. As All Might catches his breath, he looks down at the exact same building where Izuku found out the truth about All Might's injury. He thinks back to how the young man rushed in against the Sludge Villain, and Stain's conversation with him about what All Might meant to others.
Despite his injuries, All Might stands back up, stunning the villain before him, who seemed to have gotten even younger. All Might chooses not to probe him about it and not risk him coming back to his senses. He assumes that All For One had to use quirks to expel the superacid inside his body. All Might wonders if the strain is hurting him and if taking damage speeds up his rewinding, before he begins to laugh. The former number one hero catches himself in a fit of laughter, which infuriates All For One even further. All Might tells Hercules to keep it coming, as the white in his right eye returns to him, saying it's a joy to be in the service of others. Hercules launches remaining attachments towards All Might to serve as extra attachments, and activates the thrusters "Uravity" and "Ingenium" at full throttle, determined to achieve victory. Meanwhile, during Deku's fight with Tomura, the vestige of All Might inside of One For All senses the battle taking place.
While All For One continues to try and blast away All Might, the armored hero uses his newly equipped attachments to avoid the coming attacks, realizing that the villain is getting tired of the one-sided struggle. Using "Tentacole," "Froppy" Suction Pads, "Shoto" and "Tailman", he rushes through an alleyway to set up a trap. If repeated massive damage shortens his life span, All Might knows just the quirk to help him out, but because of the power source, he needs to uses "Anima" to fly up to the skies with it.
All For One catches the running hero in the alleyway, mocking how he was cackling like a mad man one minute, and running the next. He knows what All Might is trying to do, but he doesn't need to waste excess strength to turn his grin into an agonized grimace. Gripping the sides of the buildings, he unleashes a flurry Rivet Stabs, which All Might barely avoids, saying he can still kill him while conserving power. All Might flies up into the skies to come face to face with two giant Mouth Quirks. As All Might descends down, he calls All For One a liar, but the latter assures him that he really is conserving his power. The maws chase him, crunching down the building next to them.
All For One gloats about how All Might's smile has vanished, saying he's nothing more than a bag of bones missing half his guts now, forced to rely on his armor and shoddy replications of his student's quirks. The Rivet Stabs are able to rip apart the attachments on the armor, and that mockingly reminds him that the world is watching their fight unfold. That they'll watch the Symbol of Peace fall to his doom as the Symbol of Impotence. All For One ambushes All Might by breaking through a wall in front of him, and directly attacks the original injury the villain gave him in their first fight, saying his light is about to be snuffed out.
However, All Might was able to use Tailman to help block the blow. As All For One falls right where All Might wants him, he wraps the villain up in a tentacle and shoots him inside his mouth. All Might says that All For One still doesn't get that lights tend to flicker, and even if his light is snuffed out, someone will pick up his torch and shine on. Up in the sky, "Anima" had been put into place for All Might's trap. The armored hero proudly claims he isn't here to lose, telling the villain to know his name as he burns away, blasting the both of them with "Can't Stop Twinkling."
By discarding "Tentacole" to keep All For One secure, All Might was able to slip away from the laser and use "Invisible Girl" to help protect him from the laser's heat. Hercules says that the engines for the sky laser are overheating and that there's a battery failure, but All Might refuses to let up even a little bit before All For One can drag himself away. He says he was inspired by Star and Stripe's last stand, even though he can't turn the laser into solid matter like she could. Despite the laser raining fire down on him, All For One tries to escape, but All Might stops him with Sound Wave Vibration: "Earphone Jack," and while his legs still suffered from All For One's strike to his stomach, the whites in his eyes continue to return to him, and was lucky that All For One was so determined to see his face that he didn't go for the head.
All For One unleashes another wave of Rivet Stabs that are able to hit the armored hero, but All Might uses the Morphing Armor: "Creati" to create the Binding Rounds: "Grape Juice" to bind the villain's arms to the ground. All Might wasn't able to do more than what he has right now, and tells All For One to fade away while his euphoria is overriding the pain. As the battle continues being broadcast to the world, a young boy in another country is watching the fight with an old woman. He asks who the the skinny guy in black is, but the old lady doesn't know much about heroes. When the boy asks what'll happen if he wins or looses, the old lady tells the boy that it's in a far off land, and that it doesn't matter to them who wins or loses. Still, the boy watches on, worried about the outcome of the fight.
Unfortunately, the laser's overheating is too much and explodes before the job can be finished. All For One has been rewound to a child now, as his whole body now begins to glow. He tells All Might that his tools can't surpass their own limits, but just as he is about to charge up an attack, he freezes in place. Up in the sky, The Hero Killer: Stain joins the fight, riding on top of a glider and licking the blood off of a piece of rubble, telling All Might to conquer his foe.
Before showing up, Stain had surmised the situation based on Shoto and Ingenium's conversation, and he just had to follow the path of destruction from there to collect a bloodstain that hadn't been washed away by the rain and wind. Despite his mutilated nose, he could still identify the blood of others based on scent. The piece of rubble Stain picked up didn't have All Might's blood, telling him all he needed to know. He asks if All Might understands why he left the shadows and expose himself, and thinks back to their meeting. How the Hero Killer said a how a hero can only claim that title as he is in the service of others, and if a god has fallen to Earth to turn his soul feeble and mortal, certainly he has the right to cling desperately to life. All Might says he gets it, as him and Stain both begin to team up against the de-aging All For One.
However, All For One is able to use Forced Quirk Activation to use Bloodlet, which allows him to expel all the blood in his body, catching the duo off guard. All For One tells Stain he had a feeling he would move on his own, and made sure to reserve this quirk for him. Back during the Assault of Tartarus, he was the only one to spurn his takeover and escape on his own. Stain tries to lick the blood splashed on his face to paralyze him again, but All For One was able to use Antigen Swap to change his blood type, making the Bloodcurdle quirk useless as he grows a mouth out of his shoulder to chomp down on The Hero Killer. All For One always made sure to never leave a trace of him behind, and draining his own blood has returned some of his energy.
All Might rushes in to save the Hero Killer, but All For One throws him across the city through several buildings. All For One propels himself over to where Stain landed, as All Might struggles to follow. Lying in a destroyed game center, All For One says that he'll be taking Stain's Bloodcurdle quirk. He acknowledges that Stain made important contributions to the League of Villains and Tomura's growth, but his role ends here. As All Might charges and screams at All For One, Stain clarifies that his role didn't end, and that it's part of the process. Despite never benefiting from a higher education, All Might taught him what a hero was. He tells All Might to live on and triumph, as All For One takes his quirk and kills The Hero Killer then and there.
As All Might is too late, All For One turns his attention back to him and gets ready to blast him away. However, the rest of Hercules flies up into the air to shield the hero, stunning him. It tells All Might he must live before All For One blasts them both away. As Toshinori struggles to get back on his feet, he gets a vision of Nana Shimura, telling him that his tale is still being written and to get back up. Toshinori knows he's just hallucinating, and that he's trying to give himself a pep talk. A hallucination of Nighteye then shows up, saying that his support items, his legs, and all that he's given in the fight has been rendered useless. He can't fight anymore, bit he isn't dead yet. All Might tries to crawl back into the action, telling All For One to do his worst.
Just behind All Might, U.A. was still falling out of the sky because of Himiko Toga's doubles. However, the doubles had began vanishing, allowing the school to remain airborne. All For One was now in range to use his Warping quirk and bring Tomura Shigaraki to him, who was currently fighting one-on-one against Deku. The moment he injected himself with the Rewind Drug, All For One knew this was the exact spot he wanted to be in. By giving Tomura the copy of his quirk, he will become a version of him that surpasses himself. All Might tries to bring his attention back to him, but All For One begins to use his Warp quirk to bring Tomura to their location. However, as the goop begins making its way out of Tomura's mouth, he fights back against the quirk by swallowing the goop, telling his master to not butt in with his fight. All For One confirms that his vestige self had been swallowed up, and so he brings his focus back on All Might, with a twisted smile.
Just on the outskirts of the flying fortress, the Business Course students were filming Deku's fight with Shigaraki, but see now that a badly injured All Might was being carried by a villain. All For One mocks All Might by telling him to take responsibility for the silly dreams he put inside the heads of children. While Deku is handling Tomura, the latter tells the hero he better go and save All Might, and while he's doing that he can have his payback against the other heroes that fought him before. Deku sees the beaten up All Might dangling limply in the air and realizes that this could be the moment Nighteye's vision comes true. Despite putting the tearful days behind, the 9th wielder once again struggles to hold back his tears. Within All For One, the vestige of All Might had begun to fade away, as Deku calls out to his hero.
As he hears his successor's cries All Might thinks back on how Deku started his journey, how he's become a hero because he gives everything his all, and could never let his dreams die. All Might refuses to let his dream to become a Symbol of Peace die either, as he pulls himself back up to All For One. He reveals that he has one more support item up his sleave, and begins to activate it. All For One is suddenly given visions of Nana Shimura's final moments, where she says he will no doubt fall to All Might, as he is even more unhinged than All For One.
All Might is prepared to take them both out then and there, however All For One uses Spearlike Bones to cut his plans short, stabbing All Might's arms and rendering his gauntlet useless. All For One tells him he doesn't get to choose how he leaves this world. He licks All Might's blood and paralyzes the hero with Bloodcurdle. All For One had already learned before from All Might that a cornered hero is very terrifying, but he won't achieve anything here. All Might is completely frozen in horror, as All For One smiles so big that his cheeks begin to rip open, as his greatest foe is finally at his lowest point.
La Brava tells Gentle, who had been keeping U.A. from falling out of the sky, to go help All Might. Just before the reformed villain can make a save, All For One blasts a hole through the school, forcing him to stay. All For One tells Tobita to be crushed under his own Righteousness. Ethan Drive and the rest of the X-66 pilots fly in to try to help All Might. Ethan tells them to aim their lasers and prepare to fire, but they worry that they'll hit All Might too, remembering how much Star looked up to him. All For One recognizes the jets, and before they can fire, blasts them all out of the sky. Tsukauchi, Deku, Melissa, Gran Torino and the rest of the viewing world watches in horror as All For One lifts The Symbol of Peace above him and prepares to tear him apart. Just as all hope seems lost, high up above, on the very edge of the U.A. barrier, Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight reappears. He looks down and locks eyes with Deku.
All Might once again remembers Nighteye's vision, and as All For One is about to finish the job, Dynamight rushes at Deku with his explosion quirk. Deku reaches out his hand for Dynamight to grab, as the two wordlessly work together to save All Might. Kudo, realizing what Deku is about to do, tells him he won't be able to escape the blowback if he uses Gearshift again, and that it should only be used after they've assured the path towards victory. Right next to Kudo, the vestige of Toshinori had vanished from One For All, as the 2nd user understands what must be done.
Spinning in the air, Deku uses Gearshift to propel Dynamight forward with Explosive Speed. Tomura tells Deku that he won't make it in time. He deduces that the All Might vestige inside All For One was faint and fuzzy because he was alive, and that the vestige is starting to take a more solid form. Toumura smiles, as once the man who showed the world a dream dies, so too will his dream and they'll all return to harsh reality. Dynamight closes in more and more, as Nighteye's parting words echo in Deku's mind about the energy from striving and wishing for a certain future can change the predestined outcome.
As Dynamight closes in, and the entire world watches and prays for a miracle, the young man thinks back on his rematch with Deku. How he felt he was responsible for All Might's retirement. At the last minute, Dynamight is able to rush in and save All Might, blasting away All For One's arms in the process. The vestige inside One For All returns to its faint form. All Might is left speechless. Dynamight claims that it's time for them to win this.
Aftermath[]
As All Might is rescued, he has another vision of Nighteye, who says this is where his dream dies, but not All Might himself, and that fate has been reshaped. All Might says everyone knows the old master is supposed to die after passing the torch, to which the Nigheye hallucinations says that Toshinori had read too many comic books. He's a hero, but he's also human, and he can't die so readily.
Dynamight is able to make a rough landing on a building away from All For One. When All Might asks if he's okay, Dynamight says that's his line before spitting out a puddle of blood. Edgeshot slithers out of Dynamight's body, saying that's his line as well and that he forced Dynamight to expel the blood pooled up inside his body. The number 4 hero, still in his Nippo state after using Zenith, says he used his own body to repair Dynamight's body, and that the knots he tied will not come unraveled, but that each breath he takes will be hellish agony until he can get proper treatment. Dynamight thanks his senpai for bringing him back, but Edgeshot clarified he only held Dynamight together, and that he used a tiny bead of sweat inside his bloodstream, created just before his death, that he used to bring him back.
All Might sees that Dynamight's right arm had gone limp after his big save, before the latter asks who the glowing kid is. All Might explains that it's All For One and asks Dynamight to reach his arm out to him. He entrusts the last attachment of the Armored All Might, "Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight", to the titular hero, saying while it won't do it's original job anymore, it can still serve as a brace for his busted arm. Toshinori wished he could give him more, but Katsuki simply smiles at him before rushing into battle against All For One.
