Predecessor

Nana Shimura

Nana Shimura was All Might's mentor and his predecessor, the seventh inheritor of the One For All Quirk. Nana was the one that told All Might that a true hero should smile no matter what, to reassure the people and to not only protect their lives but also their hearts. All Might greatly respected Nana as a mentor, friend and hero, to the point he even considered her as his own mother. In the final moments of her battle with All For One, she instructed Gran Torino to get Toshinori to safety, despite his protests. He was absolutely crushed when he witnessed her being killed. In a flashback, it was also said by Gran Torino that Toshinori viewed Nana as "his own mother."

All Might became enraged when All For One badmouthed her and was distraught when it was revealed that Tomura is Nana's grandson. All Might wanted to save Tomura after, but Gran Torino convinced him otherwise, as he wouldn't be able to look at him as a villain. Gran Torino also mentioned that Tomura's existence brought Toshinori a lot of pain.

Within One For All, Nana expressed that despite what happened to her son, she was blessed for having wonderful disciples in Izuku and Toshinori.

U.A. High School

Class 1-A

Izuku Midoriya

All Might chooses Izuku as his successor.

At their first meeting, All Might merely thought of Izuku as just a fan. He came to his aid when a villain attacked him and signed his notebook, appearing to be impressed at his thorough notes on heroes. However, as Izuku insisted on talking to him, All Might's could no long keep his true form in his presence, and ended up revealing his injured state much to the boy's shock. Being upfront to him, he explained that becoming a hero without a Quirk simply wasn't possible, and suggested that Izuku could pursue a career as a policeman instead.

Though he somewhat broke Izuku's spirits when he told him being powerless wouldn't help him be a hero, his opinion changed, and he was inspired by the way he jumped to save Katsuki from the Sludge Villain. After All Might defeated this villain, he told Izuku that he had what it took to be a hero. He then told Izuku that he was worthy to inherit his Quirk, One For All.

Throughout the series, All Might continues to be impressed by Izuku. He commends him for the excellent work cleaning the beach during his training, and calls him cool when Izuku concentrated One For All's on his finger in his very first class, after being threatened with expulsion. He was also impressed at Izuku's performance at the sport's festival race, and, despite being told not to encourage Izuku's self destructive behavior, admired the way he sought to save Shoto Todoroki during the tournament.

Despite knowing of Izuku's insecurities, he stated that he has no regrets passing One For All to Izuku, and continues to express his pride in his growth as a hero and gaining better control of his Quirk. In order to reassure him further, he even reveals to him that he was also born Quirkless.

However, the more his own power decreased, the more concerned he grew towards Izuku. During his fight with All For One, he admitted he has failed as a teacher, and had to admonish Izuku for recklessly endangering himself. After his retirement he also expressed his deep relief that he didn't injure himself, hugging him and promising he'd do his best for him.

After meeting Izuku's mother, he has accepted that Izuku is no longer walking in his shadow, and promised her he would dedicate himself to her son, and help pave a different path for Izuku than the bloody one he walked through. No longer using up his time on hero duties, All Might also grew more dedicated to his teaching career and advised Izuku to stop trying to emulate him and find what suited him best.

However, he remained a private person. Only after being confronted by Izuku about his relationship with Sir Nighteye did All Might let him know of the future that awaited him. He explained that Izuku's will and growth, and constant surpassing of his expectations gave him the desire to fight fate, and live long to see his successor become the hero he wishes to be.

His relationship with Izuku goes so far as to border on the familial. Much like how All Might came to see his own predecessor, Nana Shimura, as his own mother, he often treats Izuku like the son he never had, attempting to shape him into not only an admirable hero, but also an admirable person. He is even prone to showing Izuku open affection in many ways, such as hugging him and reminding him that their bond is much deeper than blood as bearers of One For All. This familial bond has even caused members of U.A.'s faculty to question whether or not All Might has been in Izuku's corner from the start.

He has also helped Izuku train with One For All, significantly improving as a mentor and anticipating new quirk developments so that Izuku would be well prepared. Still, he starts to feel powerless the more Izuku progresses, feeling as though he can't do anything for him.

Within One For All, All Might's vestige was shown to be moved to the point of tears by the high regard with which Izuku held him, as well as by his selfless, kind character. After Izuku leaves U.A., All Might insists that he's going with him whether he likes it or not.

Unfortunately, after Izuku's battle with Lady Nagant and All For One's message to Izuku that "it's his turn", Izuku starts keeping his distance from All Might as a result of the overwhelming pressure to keep his family and friends safe, and ultimately leaves him behind to go off on his own against All Might's objections. This causes All Might to become despondent over how powerless he is to help his pupil and even insult himself for how he's "in the way." However, after Izuku's classmates manage to snap him back to his senses and bring him back to U.A., All Might and Izuku's relationship mostly reverts back to normal.

During his Final War against the villains, All Might prepares for one last battle against All For One in order to stop the villain from reaching Izuku's location. As the battle continues, All Might's thoughts constantly turn to his precious memories of Izuku as his inspiration to keep fighting, even as his body is being put through terrible agony. Later, just before he attempts to blow himself up in a suicidal attempt to defeat All For One, All Might's last thoughts are of the day Izuku asked him if he could become a hero without a quirk and responds of course he could, as his protege is someone who always gives his all and never abandons his dream, just as All Might couldn't abandon his dream to be the Symbol of Peace.

Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki questions All Might.

All Might first met him when Katsuki was attacked by the Sludge Villain. They met again when in the training matches. During Izuku and Katsuki's training match, All Might acknowledges Katsuki as a promising hero.

Although he doesn't approve of his reckless and cruel fighting style, and condemns his big ego at the start of the series, he recognizes that Katsuki effortlessly smiles at the face of danger, a teaching Nana Shimura instilled on Toshinori and that he deeply values. He often tries to give him advice, which usually falls on deaf ears due to Katsuki's prideful nature. However, as the series continues, Toshinori and Katsuki's standing improves with Katsuki continuing to look up to All Might and All Might continuing to support Katsuki's development as a hero.

Following Katsuki's kidnapping by the League of Villains and seeing All Might's true form, their relationship changes. Katsuki feels guilty for causing All Might's retirement, and lashes out at Izuku for it. All Might talks to both of them, reassuring Katsuki that it was not his fault, and that it was his own neglect that led to his outburst. Katsuki is then entrusted with the secret of One For All and his taking Izuku under his wing, becoming an important part of his life.

During the Joint Training Arc, All Might watched Katsuki's battle and saw his new development. After the battle, he took time to compliment Katsuki's willingness to cooperate with his team, which led to his victory while Katsuki pridefully tells him to not dwell on it. All Might has come to include Katsuki in his private talks with Izuku over his Quirk. He allows Katsuki to fight with Izuku to test the recent phenomenon Izuku developed in his fight.

All Might was later pleased by Katsuki along with Shoto obtaining their provisional licenses though was less excited that they rushed into not long after getting them.

Katsuki has also opened up to him about the reasons he bullied Izuku, with All Might understanding that his help is his own way of atoning, and reassuring him that the two boys would have time to properly talk in the future.

Katsuki also ended up paying tribute to All Might when picking his hero name Dynamight.

Shoto Todoroki

All Might says words of encouragement to Shoto.

All Might sees great potential in Shoto as a future hero, not minding Shoto's father wanting him to surpass him, In return, Shoto is amazed by his great skill as a hero and looks up to him, unlike his own father.

Their first interaction was when Shoto saved All Might from being killed by Nomu and eventually figured out that Izuku has a connection to the hero. In return, All Might is amazed by Shoto's skills and seems to have noticed the boy's troubles and does his best to offer support to Shoto without prying too deeply into his personal issues.

Even now, Shoto still expresses his admiration towards the former number one hero, telling his father that the person he strives to be like is All Might.

All Might was later pleased by Shoto along with Katsuki obtaining their provisional licenses though was less excited that they rushed into not long after getting them.

Yuga Aoyama

There has not been much interaction between them but Yuga respects All Might for his heroism.

Yuga watched intently as his teacher participated in the Kamino Incident and was happy that he succeeded over All For One.

After Izuku and Toru exposed Yuga as the traitor who was forced to leak intel to All For One, All Might reflected on his Yuga's troubles and was sad that it led to this, being visibly distraught by the revelation.

Despite this, he agreed with Shota's plan to help Yuga redeem himself by helping them take down All For One. Unlike Naomasa, All Might held belief in Yuga, alongside his classmates, that he would do the right by those helping him. After Yuga was able to bring their plan into fruition, All Might assigned him and Fat Gum to capture the remaining villains, telling the BMI Hero to look after his student.

Other students

Mirio Togata

Before meeting Izuku, Principal Nezu suggested Mirio to be All Might's successor. While All Might respects and admires the aspiring hero and admits to Izuku that he along with many U.A. students would be a worthy successor, All Might continues to believe he made the right choice in passing over students like Mirio in favor of Izuku.

Faculty

Shota Aizawa

Toshinori talks with Shota about the Class 1-A.

Not much is known of their past, but due to their contrasting personalities, they usually had clashing positions, with Shota disliking the media spotlight and having a more strict approach to teaching, while All Might was much more vocal with his encouragements. Although All Might seems to consider him a bit harsh, he still seeks his approval, and gets embarrassed when his favoritism for Izuku gets called out by Shota.

Nevertheless, the two do show mutual respect for each other and their abilities, and both being willing to risk their personal safety to protect the other such as in the U.S.J. Arc. All Might was relieved to hear Shota was alright after he was treated at the hospital, and Shota was watching with concern as All Might fought All For One at Kamino.

Over the course of the series, Shota and All Might's relationship appears to have gotten better. He entrusted Izuku and Katsuki to All Might at both the practical exams and during their fight on school grounds, and took his words into consideration when he told him to go easy on their punishment. Shota counseled with All Might regarding their job to have students enter the dormitories. The two also offered to buy each other a drink during their visits to the student's families.

Shota has also shown growing concern with All Might's safety after his retirement, advising him to concentrate on his recovery and to be more careful of his surroundings. When Shota couldn't attend Katsuki and Shoto's provisional license exams, he had All Might go in his place and asked Present Mic to accompany him as a bodyguard.

Furthermore they were shown to communicate well when Izuku's new quirk manifested, assessing the situation with each other. Shota describes All Might as a genius, and has him replace him when he can't go to classes.

Shota is also one of the very few people All Might confided in, admitting to him that although he decided to live, he felt as though there wasn't much he could do for their students. Shota then reassures him that there is plenty he can do for them, and that he still gives people strength just by being alive.

Recovery Girl

Recovery Girl is one of All Might's friends, and also one of the few people who know about his condition and Quirk. She frequently scolds him for letting Izuku damage himself in fights and for not being a good enough mentor, believing that All Might spoils the boy. Following the final exams where All Might faces Izuku and Katsuki, Recovery Girl scolds All Might for his lack of restraint against the two. Despite these disagreements on All Might's teaching style, Recovery Girl still considers All Might to be both a friend and an excellent hero.

Nezu

Nezu lectures All Might.

Nezu is another of the few people that knows of his condition and was the person that offered him a teaching position at U.A. The two have an amiable and mutually respectful relationship, although All Might often finds himself trapped by the principal's long winded and boring speeches and Nezu often has to deal with All Might's heroics interfering with his job as a teacher.

Pro Heroes

Gran Torino

All Might and Gran Torino.

Gran Torino trained All Might back when he was a student. Though he respects him as his mentor, All Might acts somewhat scared about talking about him to Izuku, due to past trauma from his training methods. Despite this brutal training, Gran Torino does deeply care for All Might and only became a teacher in order to tutor him. It was suggested by Izuku that Gran Torino's "dumb act" inspired All Might's personality as well.

In the Vs. Hero Killer Arc, Gran Torino contacts him, and All Might is shown nervous during the talk. All Might praises him, but get progressively more nervous as Gran Torino calls him out on not visiting often enough. Despite that, Gran Torino complimented All Might on picking a successor like Izuku, as he saw the same flame in him that he saw.

During the Hideout Raid Arc, he fought alongside his mentor against the League of Villains. When All Might fought All for One, Gran Torino joined All Might in his final battle, acting not only as an ally in combat, but as an emotional rock, keeping All Might focused in the face of All For One's provocations and taunts. Gran Torino also expressed his pride in his pupil for defeating All For One a second time while being the Symbol of Peace one last time. After All Might discovered Tomura Shigaraki was Nana Shimura's grandson, Gran Torino stopped him from going after him as it would be fruitless to try in reasoning with a criminal and All Might accepted his teacher's words.

Despite their relationship being presented as complicated, Gran Torino accompanied him Toshinori through his whole life and keeps discussing current affairs with him. He was seen with Toshinori in the hospital after All Might's first clash with All For One, and even tried to reunite him with his former sidekick, Sir Nighteye.

Gran Torino has also expressed a lot of concern for All Might, thinking about the pain he has been through during his clash with Tomura Shigaraki.

Endeavor

Endeavor seeks advice from his former rival.

Ten years before the start of the series, All Might once had a talk with Endeavor and since then, they have not spoken to each other. All Might appears to respect Endeavor, wanting to get advice from him on how to raise the next generation. It seems that their rivalry is mainly one-sided (on Endeavor's) as All Might is usually friendly with him.

Endeavor was bitterly consumed by his desire to surpass All Might, which inevitably led to his family problems. Focused on his goals to dethrone All Might, Endeavor had no interest in talking to him or exchanging ideas.

After All Might's retirement and Endeavor's subsequent promotion to No. 1 hero, the two appear to be on better terms: The shock of seeing All Might in his weakened state made him question the things he sacrificed in his search for power, with Endeavor approaching the former hero on how to fill the void left by All Might. Endeavor even thanked All Might for bringing his son back to him, which All Might stated wasn't a problem. Later on, he sincerely asked him what it truly is to be the Symbol of Peace.

All Might says he simply does not know how to answer. All Might states that he always believed that the country needed a symbol, a beacon of hope and a warning to villains, and in doing so he ignored the people around him, something Endeavor picked up on being referring to All Might's sidekick. All Might tells Endeavor that he knows his struggle of filling in his spot as the Number One Hero and how people keep comparing them, but also tells him he does not need to follow the same path that he took to become the same symbol, but find his own way of doing things instead.

All Might was horrified to watch a news report of him being overwhelmed by High-End's attack.

Sir Nighteye

All Might and Sir Nighteye partnership.

Sir Nighteye was once All Might's sidekick before their eventual falling out when their values conflicted in regards to All Might's injuries. Nighteye pleaded with All Might to retire and find a successor. Nighteye believed that by retiring, All Might's legend would live on and that he would only damage the citizens and other heroes who look up to him if he pushed himself. All Might refused his partner's advice for fear of another villain as powerful as All For One rising to power in his absence.

During their argument, Nighteye brought up a future he saw of All Might via his Quirk, where All Might would clash with a villain and meet a gruesome demise. As his foresight was never wrong, he did not want to see All Might's death. From there, they had a fight and separated.

Despite this, Nighteye doesn't hold any resentment against All Might, and still admires him and cares for him despite their disagreements. However, All Might was reluctant with the idea of meeting his old sidekick again due to becoming something Nighteye warned him about. This is also one of the reasons why he refuses to help Izuku to getting an introduction to Nighteye. Equally, in spite of all the admiration that he professes to him, Sir Nighteye thinks that All Might's decision to choose to Izuku as his successor was a mistake.

Very soon, Nighteye was critically injured in a battle and All Might made the choice to see his old friend one last time. He was sad as Nighteye laid in pain as he begged the latter to hang on so he can properly make amends, but Nighteye said he had already forgiven All Might and was happy he just came to see him. Nighteye stated he saw the potential of Izuku that All Might saw and deemed him worthy of being the latter's successor. When Nighteye died, All Might shed tears at the loss of his old friend.

During his final battle against All For One, All Might thinks to himself that this could be the very death that Nighteye foretold him, and prepares to face it with a smile. Once All For One destroys All Might's suit and he lies bloodied and beaten on the ground, All Might hallucinates his old friend telling him that while he no longer has a way to fight, he is still not dead yet. Later, after being saved from certain death by Katsuki, All Might asks the hallucination of Nighteye if this wasn't when he was supposed to meet his end, but he claims it was where his dream died, and that fate was reshaped, so that while his dream did end there, his promise to live for Izuku's sake did not. All Might says that the master is supposed to die after passing on the torch to his apprentice, but Nighteye quips he's read too many comic books, and he smiles and says that while he's a hero, but he's also human, so he won't die so readily.

Allies

Naomasa Tsukauchi

All Might being informed by Naomasa.

Naomasa is also another person that knows about his condition; All Might thinks he is the best cop there is.

Naomasa and All Might met while the latter (in base form) was posing as All Might's contact, in recommendation of Naomasa's partner. While they were having a conversation in a café, All Might constantly made excuses and run to perform quick deeds as All Might. When he accidentally returns with the uniform still visible (revealing his dual identity as All Might), Naomasa calls him out on not filing reports on all of his heroic activities (as customary of a Pro Hero). Taking pity on the number 1 Hero, Naomasa offered to file the reports himself, letting All Might act without any worries apart from telling Naomasa what he was doing.

They have since remained good friends, with Naomasa being one of the few individuals that All Might fully trusts and can confide with. Professionally, the two also have a special relationship, with Naomasa revealing information directly to All Might on matters such as All For One and Nomu.

David Shield

David Shield was All Might's partner when he worked in the US. After All Might rescued Dave from a fire-related accident, the two became friends. They had a very close relationship during their college days, to where David refers to All Might as "Toshi" and even invited him to his wedding (as seen in one of Melissa's photos). David was also the designer and creator of every single one of All Might's hero costumes. All Might seems very appreciative of the things that David has done for him, stating that "your father is my hero" to Melissa.

David still appears to have strong feelings for All Might. He can often be seen looking at an image of a younger All Might on his phone, and Melissa even described him as "someone you love" when bringing All Might into his lab to visit him after his arrival at I-Island. David also appears to miss All Might, stating that he wished that All Might had stayed in America. (in the English dub, he says "America needs you"). It appears that they still keep in touch via email.

David is aware that All Might is getting weaker, but he isn't aware about the secrets of One For All. It is later revealed that David was creating a Quirk-amplifying device to assist All Might, and allow him to keep being the Symbol of Peace for a longer time. He even went so far as to recruit villains to help him with his plan, unaware that All For One manipulated from behind the scenes to plummet David's reputation, all to spite All Might.

Villains

Tomura Shigaraki

All Might and the students face off against Tomura.

At first, All Might detested Tomura for invading U.A. and trying to kill the students. He considered him as a criminal with a strong desire to cause random acts of destruction and murder, but one with a "man-child" personality who likes to brag and acts out when things do not go his way. However, things changed when All For One told him that Tomura is the grandson of his mentor, which caused him a great shock.

All Might wishes to find Tomura and stop him; however, Gran Torino tells him that he is in no position to do such a thing and can't do that because he would not be able to see Tomura as a villain.

All For One

All Might vs. All For One.

All Might and All For One are bitter enemies and detest each other; All Might despises All For One's antagonistic and manipulative nature while All For One despises All Might's heroism. All Might fought All For One five years ago and defeated him, which furthered All For One's hatred for All Might. All For One is an incredibly powerful villain and gave All Might his critical wounds that limit his ability to perform his duties as a hero. All Might is very cautious about All For One, going as far as to warn Izuku of the dangers that he poses. He seems to also place his hand on the wound All For One dealt him when talking about him. Toshinori also unconsciously grips his old wound during Endeavor's fight with High-End as the circumstances were parallel to Toshinori's fight with All For One as both were cataclysmic battles where the hero and villain were grievously injuring each other. In their final battle, All For One continually taunted All Might, knowing where to strike to enrage and wound All Might, bringing up his former master and her grandson.

During All Might's visit to see his nemesis in Tartarus Prison, All For One gave All Might insight into his reasons for adopting and apprenticing Tomura Shigaraki. He showed a penchant for manipulation, enjoying playing mind games with All Might in an attempt to provoke him into leaking information from the outside world. He also mentioned that the life-threatening injuries that left him blinded and scarred are why he worked so hard to cultivate a plan for empowering Tomura. In turn, All Might simply turned away and promised that he would still do everything he could to interfere with All For One's ambitions, showing that their enmity had only fermented and grown in potency.

Later during the Final War against the villains, as All For One decimates the heroes fighting against him, All Might takes it upon himself to personally intercept the Villain before he can reach Tomura as a last line of defense. All Might gives off a smile, before announcing his trademark phrase, "I Am Here!", as his car and briefcase unleash an array of support items. All For One looks down on him grinning with madness in his eyes, as the two nemeses finally prepare to settle things in one last epic clash.

During their last battle, All Might constantly mocks All For One for getting beaten around by a quirkless man, knowing that stoking his anger is essential to his victory. Over the course of their final battle,All For One constantly derides All Might as trash and how foolish he is for believing that wearing his "trash bag"would allow him to stand against him, only for All Might to mockingly agree, and tell All For One how pathetic he is for trying to play it cool. However, All For One's hatred for All Might is what allows the fight to take place to begin with, as he had a chance to kill All Might by crushing his skull but instead disabled his legs, so he could see it when All Might finally stops smiling. Eventually All for One manages to destroy the suit and intends to carry the injured hero to U.A for the whole world to see his failure. Just then All Might grabs All For One with his remaining gauntlet for a last ditch attempt to blow them both up.

However, All For One thwarts All Might's suicidal attack, snarking that he won't allow his old enemy to die "a heroic death." Realizing that All Might is well and truly cornered, All For One paralyzes him with Bloodcurdle, and looks on with glee excitedly as he sees the sight he's been waiting for: All Might in complete and absolute despair. Just before he can rip All Might apart in front of the entire world, he is narrowly saved by the combined effort of Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya.

Stain

Stain confronts All Might.

All Might aware of Stain's threat and considered him deplorable while the vigilante has a tremendous deal of respect for All Might and even states that he is the only true hero in the world.

Stain's respect regarding All Might emanated from the respect he had towards him when he was a teen, since All Might was the reason Chizome initially decided to become a hero. Chizome's respect and admiration for All Might runs so deep that before finally falling unconscious, Chizome declared that only All Might is allowed to defeat him. In a discussion with Gran Torino, Toshinori voiced how it was surprising that the latter scared his mentor. He also noted new villains would be inspired by Stain's speech and how it would be for society.

Following the Paranormal Liberation War, All Might meets Stain face-to-face in Kamino, surprised by their meeting after his retirement. Stain initially did not believe he was All Might and calls him a fake desecrating All Might's sacred grounds. Even when All Might showed his muscle form, Stain refused to believe he was actually talking to him, calling All Might a man who helped people regardless of the power he held, showing that his respect for him runs deeper than expected. However, he did imply to Toshinori that he was already aware of his current state, telling him that if he is a true hero, to make use of his information from Tartarus, throwing a knife containing the data disk, as well as a personalized letter to All Might attached, toward him.

During the Final War against the villains, Stain comes to his hero's aid in the fight against All For One, paralyzing the villain with his quirk. With All For One paralyzed, Stain charges downward on his glider with his katana, prepared to decapitate him, while mentally telling All Might why he would choose to now leave the shadows and expose himself, as All Might also charges forward with his fist powering up to strike back: he is here so he can live on. However All For One breaks free with the aid of multiple quirks, and instantly defeats stain before planing to kill him. Staying to defiant to the very end, Stain recalls about how he never finished a higher education, and that it was All Might who taught him what a Hero is meant to be. He stretches his arms out as a sign for All Might to live on and triumph, just as All For One smashes right through Stain, killing him and taking his Quirk.

Civilians

Inko Midoriya

All Might begs to Izuku's mother.

All Might meets Izuku's mother for the first time when he goes to their apartment to talk to her about the dorm system. Inko is amazed that the former pro-hero decided to visit her home and is nervous by his arrival. She reveals that she's against it and wants to pull her son out of U.A. High School, because she does not trust that they can protect her son. Inko wishes to support her son in his dream, but his mounting injuries as well as the school being attacked multiple times has caused her to lose confidence. Also, she knows that Izuku looks up to All Might so much that she is worried this will lead him down the same blood filled path.

Izuku is shocked by his mother's revelation, but he understands her and told her there would be no problem as long as he managed to become a hero in another school. All Might transforms into his muscular form and bows before Inko and Izuku. All Might apologizes to Inko for his negligence as Izuku's teacher and understands that she is worried about the bloody path of a Hero, but reveals that he believes Izuku should become the new symbol of peace. All Might returns to his weak form and expresses his desire to raise Izuku to prevent him from walking down a blood-stained path to heroism. He asks that Inko look beyond the current U.A. and look to a future U.A. that's trying to change for its students. Finally, All Might asks that she allow him to pour his all into Izuku, and even promises to protect and raise Izuku, even at the cost of his own life.

Inko is shocked at All Might's resolve. She states that all she wants is Izuku to be happy and tells All Might that he should never trade his life away for someone else's sake. She asks All Might to live properly and raise her son. If All Might promises her that, she will allow Izuku to attend U.A. High again. All Might promises to do so and Inko asks that he take good care of her son. Izuku promises to not make his mother worry any longer.

Outside, after Izuku and All Might manage to convince her to let Izuku stay at U.A., All Might compliments Inko for being a wonderful parent, telling Izuku that she reminds him of his master Nana.

Later, All Might informs Inko about the One For All in the Central Hospital.

Melissa Shield

Melissa reunites with her Uncle Might.

All Might met Melissa when she was still a child, during the years he was working as a hero in the United States, with her father as an ally. He tells her that, despite her being Quirkless, she can be a hero to other people in other ways, just as her father is to him as he is the only one capable of producing to him the right equipment. Hearing how her father was a hero to All Might inspired her to follow her dad's footsteps and become a support engineer.

Later on, she becomes familiar with All Might enough to refer to him as "Uncle Might" when she invites him over to I-Island in email.
