Timothy Agpar (ティモシー・アグパー Timoshī Agupā?) is a military commander and ally of Star and Stripe.
Appearance[]
Timothy Agpar has an elongated head, bushy whiskers, and large eyes. He is also seen wearing a formal suit and tie.
Personality[]
As a commander of the U.S. military, Timothy appears to have a calm and collected demeanor, as opposed to Star and Stripe's rash and reckless attitude. He appeared accustomed to dealing with her disregard for the rules, yet also held her in high esteem regardless, saying that Star's spirit is what makes their nation shine the brightest.[1]
He has also proven to have a good heart and a strong sense of morality, as when meeting with the American president, he opposed his idea of appealing to Tomura Shigaraki, not wanting Star's sacrifice to be in vain. In this meeting, he also placed faith in the Heroes and how they inspire the future generations.[2]
Synopsis[]
Star and Stripe Arc[]
In the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War, the hero society of Japan had fallen, with escaped villains rampaging throughout the streets, many heroes are calling quits as chaos spreads to other countries, including the United States, and the evil masterminds behind it all, All For One and Tomura Shigaraki, still at large. In desperate need of aide, All Might sought out assistance from the foreign heroes to provide backup. Star and Stripe was the first to oblige and heads out to Japan so she can help All Might.
On their rendezvous with the Heroes, Star and her squadron were intercepted by Tomura riding a Nomu. Despite putting up a good fight, "Tomura" pushes back hard against the Americans, so Star reluctantly requests to send word to Timothy, informing him that "Tomura" has grown from being Japan's local menace to a global threat to the entire world, so they must use the tactics Japan lacks and kill him now.
Timothy obliged to her information and decided to do what is necessary to make sure "Tomura" is taken out. He warns her that it will cost her more than just her hero license, which she is perfectly fine with. He lets her know the nuclear strike is imminent and Japan has been informed, adding that it's her defiance for the rules that's what made their nation shine the brightest, and if All Might couldn't put an end to the villain, she will surpass him, calling her by her real name, Cassie.[3]
The thermonuclear "State-Of-The-Art Hypersonic Intercontinental Cruise Missiles: Tiamat" are launched over there, which Star is able to use to inflict heavy inures upon "Tomura", however, he is still able to survive, successfully kills her and takes her Quirk, and ultimately escapes. As the result of her death, other nations, including the United States, withdrew support to the country so they can focus on containing the chaos happening in their mainland.[4]
Final War Arc[]
With the loss of their No. 1 Hero, many countries, including the United States, are falling under the same chaos being inflicted in Japan, and in Washington, D.C., Timothy approaches the President, telling him it's the time to strike Tomura or their country will be in danger. However, the President points out that America is already further into the red zone than other countries due to Timothy's actions. He continues that according to their reports, Tomura has reached a point beyond human control, and that no matter what happens, he's untouchable, reminding him how they already tried and failed confronting him through Star and Stripe and their missiles.
Timothy realizes their plan is to try and appease themselves to Tomura, with the President stating that the other nations have already been trying to see who can gain Tomura's trust first. Timothy greatly objects to even the idea of being ruled over and robbed of everything they have, as the President defends that it is for the future of their nation, with Timothy yelling they won't have a future.
Pulling out a picture of a young Cassie with All Might, Timothy laments over what she died for and why she followed in his footsteps. He reminds the President that children observe the adults growing up, the adults support them and in turn, they pass this forward to the next generation; it is why the Heroes wield their power, in the name of this cause.[2]
As the Final War continues, Timothy watches the live broadcasts of the battles occurring throughout Japan, including the battle between All Might and All For One.[5][6] After All Might was defeated by All For One, the villain drags him over to U.A. in order for the world to witness him killing the Symbol of Peace. Timothy watched as the American military that stayed behind to assist in the fight attempted to rescue All Might, but were themselves effortlessly taken out with all the jets destroyed, and Timothy mourning their defeat.[7] He silently prays alongside the rest of the world to save All Might from his impending death, which are soon answered by Katsuki Bakugo successfully stealing him back from All For One's hands.[8]
Abilities[]
Authority: Due to his position of commander, Timothy has authority over the USA's military actions. He managed to procure and send the Tiamat missiles over to Star and Stripe to aid in her battle against Tomura, despite the controversy and potentially severe consequences of using this high-powered weapon.
