Transformation or Mutant Quirk
It looks like the users are conflicted with this quirk usage, so please use references for this quirk. So far, there is a databook page for this character, and people want to know if we should put transformation or mutant quirk.

He is a mutant. There should be no question about it.
1- He remains in liquid form even when unconscious. If a Transformation requires willing activation, that doesn't make sense.
2- He refers to himself as amorphous.
3- He is never shown in solid form. In fact, his pieces rained down and were recovered by the heroes. KingCannon (talk) 17:01, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
From what I can read on his databook page, there's no mention about his Quirk type. I feel like KingCannon has explained it pretty nicely, though. I hadn't even noticed those instances in Chapter 1, but truly, if his Quirk was a Transformation type, it should, at the very least, deactivate once he's unconscious. We've not seen a Transformation Quirk that doesn't do so -- remember when Mount Lady fainted after she and the other heroes were attacked by AFO? Her Quirk deactivated then. ☆°・*Linerie ~ Message ☆ 17:11, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
The one instance we see the closest thing he has to a human form is at the page/scene he is introduced, where he is wearing pants and has a humanoid form. He still looks very much like a mutant-type.
No doubt he can change his mass, but most Transformation-types can do that like Mount Lady and Itsuka Kendou KingCannon (talk) 17:23, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
