Symbol of Paradise (楽園の象徴 Rakuen no Shōchō?) was the Gollini Family's mobile base of operations created by Dark Might's Alchemy Quirk when it was enhanced by Anna Scervino's Overmodification. It was destroyed after the Gollini Family was defeated during their failed invasion of Japan.[1]
Description[]
The Gollini Family yacht before being transformed.
After Dark Might arrived in Japan to "save the country", he created his fortress using his overmodified Alchemy Quirk to transmute his flying yacht, some gold coins, and the surrounding area itself, while abducting many Japanese citizens in the vicinity. As a result, the yacht transformed into a massive fortress which he named the "Symbol of Paradise".
The fortress housed a plethora of different locations, a large number of different locations, each with its own ecosystem, and connected to each other through corridors, tunnels, and manholes. Thanks to Dark Might's Alchemy, the mafia boss was able to continuously modify the Symbol of Paradise in any way he saw fit, including creating hidden doors for himself and his allies, as well as trapdoors and pitfalls for his enemies. It was also transported by Kamile Gollini's Spatial Excursion Quirk. It could automatically repair itself from any damage it received, as shown when it was hit by Endeavor's Prominence Burn.
During the final encounter between Deku, Dynamight, Shoto, and Giulio Gandini against Dark Might, the Symbol of Paradise begins to crumble and fall apart when Deku knocks Dark Might unconscious. However, it quickly reassembles itself when Dark Might reawakens and transforms into a monster due to Overmodification going haywire. Afterwards, the Villain resumes his battle with the Heroes, but their combined efforts overwhelm him and destroy his monster form. Deku, using the power of One For All, proceeds to land the finishing blow on Dark Might, which simultaneously splits the entire fortress in half, marking the end of the Gollini Family's attempted conquest of Japan.
Locations[]
Jungle Area[]
It is a massive artificial jungle, where the trees and vegetation are fake and there are no birds or insects. The walls in this section are painted realistically to blend in with the surroundings, to the point of tricking the eye into thinking it's more of a jungle and causing anyone to bump into the walls. The Jungle also contains at least one manhole cover that leads down a long twisting tunnel into the mountain area.
This is where Class A Team 3, consisting of Deku, Uravity, Earphone Jack, Tailman, Cellophane, and Invisible Girl, woke up in.
Amusement Park Area[]
An amusement park filled with working rides, including a Ferris wheel, a carousel, a glowing waterfall mountain, and two twist rides. Inside the park's main building, resembling a haunted house, is a separate mansion.
Class A Team 1, consisting of Dynamight, Red Riot, Pinky, Sugarman, Tsukuyomi, and Anima, found themselves here.
City Area[]
It is a European-style walled city located in a vast field with some forest. A golden statue of All Might stands at the top of the city. This is where the kidnapped civilians, referred to as "specimens" by Dark Might, were being held to be subjected to Anna's Overmodification in hopes of turning them into living weapons. Anna and all the civilians were being brainwashed by Deborah Gollini's Day Dream.
Class A Team 2, consisting of Shoto, Ingenium, Creati, Chargebolt, Tentacole, Grape Juice, and Froppy, woke up on the outskirts of the city.
Mountain Area[]
It's a mountainous, snowy area with a lake. At the bottom, there's a forested field with a lake. A manhole in the ceiling connects this area to the jungle, and in the mountains there is another one that connects to the city. A tunnel hidden behind a large rock leads to the beach area.
This is where Giulio wakes up after being absorbed into the fortress. Deku would fall into this area through the manhole in the ceiling. and two were ambushed by some of Gollini's henchmen, whom they defeated. Later the rest of Team 3 arrived, and as soon as they set foot on the mountain, the ground opened up beneath them, leading them straight into the center of the city.
Beach Area[]
This area is a coastal beach bedrock. The whole area is surrounded by cliffs except for one wall, which is painted to simulate the sea and a sunny day. This area is connected to the mountainous region by a tunnel. Another tunnel provides access to the field of the city area.
This is where Deku and Gulio confronted Paulo Gollini and two of his henchmen.
Dungeon Area[]
It consists of a labyrinthine dungeon that resembles to that of a dungeon crawler role-playing game. This is where Simon Gollini controls the creatures made by his Monster Summon Quirk, monitoring the entire place from a separate room with multiple screens. The dungeon is below the amusement park, and connected to the city.
This is where Dark Might sent Team 1 when they refused to follow him, having to face Simon and his monsters.
Dark Might's Palace[]
On the outskirts of the city area, connected by a long bridge, lies Dark Might's Palace, which the Villain created with his Quirk on a rocky promontory surrounded by ravines. This palaces serves as the Gollini Family's main base, with advanced technology that allowed them to contact others both inside and outside the palace.
The interior of the rocky promontory features an amphitheater where Dark Might can summon endless hordes of golems to confront intruders. After climbing a long staircase, one reaches the walls and the central gate, surrounded by ruins. Behind the walls lies a well-kept garden, decorated with ponds, fountains, and statues of All Might.
The interior of the palace is luxurious and filled with fancy furniture. Dark Might rules the Symbol of Paradise from his ostentatiously decorated throne room, complete with paintings of him.
An elevator takes to the dome of the entire flying fortress.
Dome[]
It's located at the top of the flying fortress. When Deku and Giulio arrive, it's almost completely dark, with the ceiling covered in metal plates. However, when Dark Might uses his Alchemy Quirk, the ceiling is replaced by a representation of a sunny blue sky, illuminating the entire place and revealing a vast field with rock formations and some scattered ruins.
This is where the final battle against Dark Might took place.
