Substitution Jutsu (変わり身の術, Kawari mi no Jutsu^?) is an Ultimate Move performed by Edgeshot.

Description

Using his ninjutsu techniques, the instant before he is hit by an enemy attack, Edgeshot immediately switches places with a log, avoiding being struck by the attack.

Edgeshot first uses this technique to protect some civilians from the explosion of one of the Number 6's bombers.

• This move may be a reference to the Body Replacement Technique, also referred to as the Substitution Jutsu, from the Naruto series, which has a similar effect and appearance.
