Spearlike Bones (槍 (そう) 骨 (こつ) , Sōkotsu^?) is a Quirk used by All For One, who stole it from his mother, and has passed it to at least one other person in the past.

Description

Spearlike Bones allows the user to generate cone-shaped spears made of bone on any part of their body. They can also emerge from other parts of the body such as the mouth. The size and length of these spears, as well as how many are released, can be increased and are capable of quickly and easily puncturing into human flesh.

Usage

Spearlike Bones initially manifested as hardened growths on All For One's mother's arm, unaware that it was a power. It wasn't until after the infant All For One stole the Quirk from his mother after being born that he was able to make use of its full capabilities. He is shown using the Quirk to unleash bones all across his body, murdering an Anti-Meta Task Force and some civilians.

At some point during his reign, All For One gave the Quirk to a civilian who sought him out for a power to defend himself, before eventually getting it back.

All For One used the Quirk as part of his Ultimate Quirk Combination attack against All Might. He also used it to destroy All Might's "Dynamight" explosive device to prevent him from blowing up the both of them in their final battle.

After being defeated by Dynamight and having rewound into an infant, All For One fired a spear from his mouth in an attempt to kill Dynamight, only for the latter to catch it in his teeth and blow it up.

Trivia

• This is the oldest known Quirk in the series, being unconsciously possessed by All For One's mother over two years before the birth of the Luminescent Baby and the recognition of Meta Abilities.
  • It is also the first Quirk stolen by All For One and the last one he used before he died.
