Scalemail (スケイルメイル Sukeirumeiru?) is a Quirk used by Shuichi Iguchi, given to him by All For One, who stole it from someone else.[1]
Description[]
Scalemail allows its user to cover their body with sharp armored scales, granting them increased strength and defense.
In the anime, the scales that Scalemail grants are colored dark red.
Weaknesses[]
Generating the scales necessary for defense causes the user to bleed as they rupture the skin. Any high force of impact can easily break through the armor plating as it cannot withstand potent punches, just as shown when Mezo Shoji was able shatter most of the armor with his Octospansion followed by Present Mic's Voice attack. As this Quirk has only been shown being used by someone who isn't its original owner however, it is unknown if these are natural drawbacks of the Quirk, or a side effect of it being used by an incompatible body.
