Sankyaku Kamehara (亀原三脚 Kamehara Sankyaku?) is a professional photographer from My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions, hired by Midnight to get Class 1-A used to the spotlight.[1]
Appearance[]
Sankyaku is a young man a third leg, short light-colored hair, and squinting eyes. He wears a vest jacket and dark-pants., and constantly carries a camera.
Personality[]
Sankyaku loves photography, gladly spending all his time on taking photos. He believes in being a patient photographer, preferring to observe his target over time until he naturally gets the "perfect shot" representing them.
He has somewhat of an inferiority complex, and is overly self-conscious about staying out of his target's way; when he does get involved in their normal activities, he feels immensely guilty, immediately jumping to the conclusion that they hate him. Despite this, he was convinced by Deku's sincerity to be more forceful with his shots, rather than wait passively forever.
Synopsis[]
Wanting Class 1-A to get used to being in the public eye as heroes, Midnight hired Sankyaku to spend a week photographing them. He dedicated himself heavily to this task, constantly following the class with his camera, and managing to get "perfect shots" of each class member except Izuku. At the end of the week, he presented a slideshow of the "perfect shots" to the class.
Having been unable to get one of Izuku, he asked to continue trying, and Izuku agreed. However, time passed, and Sankyaku was still unable to get a shot he was happy with. Eventually, Izuku asked if there was some way he could help, but Sankyaku refused, wanting to get the shot passively. As they spoke, scaffolding from a nearby construction project began to collapse, and Izuku rushed to herd away a nearby crowd. Deciding that his hero work would result in Deku's "perfect shot", Sankyaku climbed onto a nearby roof to get a picture; however, the scaffolding fell to the side, directly above Sankyaku.
Before the scaffolding landed, Sankyaku was saved by Izuku, who rushed from the ground to grab him out of the way. Sankyaku panicked that he had gotten involved in Deku's work, but Deku responded that it was fine as long as he wasn't hurt, and Sankyaku realized that he really wouldn't mind helping him get the "perfect shot". Finally, Sankyaku asked Deku to help him get a good picture, and they went to take staged photos of Deku in All Might's and Mirko's outfits.[1]

- Tripod (三脚 Sankyaku?): Sankyaku's Quirk gives him a third leg, between his other two. He uses his third leg to take good photos, by using it to remain stable.
Trivia[]
- Sankyaku's given name means "tripod" (三脚 sankyaku?).
- His surname, "Kamehara", is written with the kanji for "turtle" (亀 kame?) and "meadow" (原 hara?). It may be a pun on "camera" (カメラ kamera?).
