Roro Soul is a resident of Otheon and the middle sibling of Rody Soul and Lala Soul in My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission.

Appearance[]

Roro is a small young boy with flat, brown hair and gray eyes. He wears a cadet blue and white shirt that is rather raggedy, with the left sleeve and right side of the waist patched together.

Personality[]

Like his younger sister, Lala, Roro is a loving sibling towards Rody. Despite their family being ostracized for their father joining Humarise, to the point where they had to leave their home and live in the Shanty Town of Otheon, Roro is a kind and happy child who loves his older brother. This is seen when him and Lala gave Rody his tie as the latter prepared to go to work, and promised they would study and cook food for themselves.[1]

Synopsis[]

History[]

Roro Soul was born in the European country of Otheon. He is the second son of Eddie Soul, a famous engineer, and has two siblings, his younger sister, Lala and his older brother, Rody. His mother died shortly after Lala was born, and since his father had to be absent due to his job, from a very young age Rody had to take care of Roro and Lala while his father was at work. Even so, Roro's early childhood years were happy, such as playing with his siblings and friends.

Rody and his siblings abandon their home

The Souls are forced to leave their home.

A few years later, for some incomprehensible reason, Eddie decided to abandon his three children to join Humarise, a sect that considers Quirks a disease and was involved in several incidents. Because of this, the Soul children were expelled from their school, and their neighbors and acquaintances began to badmouth them, preventing their kids from playing with them. One day, they returned home to find their house heavily vandalized, with the walls painted with insults and their windows smashed in. Because of the stigma, Rody couldn't even get an honest job to support himself and his siblings.

With no choice, the Souls abandoned their home and went to live in a dilapidated caravan located in the shantytown in the capital city of Otheon. This situation caused Rody to generate enormous resentment towards his father, to the point of breaking the necklace he gave him. He promised his sobbing siblings that he would always be there for them no matter what.

The new life in the slums began very difficult for the siblings. Rody frequently got into trouble and suffered beatings from the most disagreeable residents of that area of the city, on some occasions to protect Roro and Lala.[1]

My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission[]

Roro and Lala were currently staying at their mobile home when Rody tells them that he needs to go to work, so he asks them to study, if he doesn't come home till late, to make food, and to ignore any strangers who try to talk to them. As they stayed home, they are unaware of the news outlets labeling their oldest brother as an accomplice to supposed terrorist, young hero Izuku Midoriya.

Rody is reunited with Roro and Lala

Roro and Lala reunite with Rody.

Days later, the leader of Humarise, Flect Turn hacked into every communications network and broadcast to the world that they have planted Trigger Bombs in the major cities of twenty-five countries and they will detonate them in two hours. As a result of their ultimatum, widespread panic and hysteria persists in the capital city of Otheon. The World Heroes Association greenlights the heroes being deployed to each sector and fights in defense to quell the chaos and locate the Trigger Bombs. Roro and Lala are still in their mobile home, fearfully hoping that Rody may come back to save them. Fortunately, Rody was able to disarm the bombs worldwide and save the capital and his siblings. Lala and Roro reunite with Rody at the hospital and hug him. With the world saved and their brother recognized as the hero who stopped the bombs, the siblings are able to enroll back in school and make friends with other children.[1]

Final War Arc[]

Several months later, the Soul family watch on their phones the live broadcasts of the Final War between the Heroes and Villains in Japan, including Izuku's battle against Tomura Shigaraki.[2]

Eventually, the Heroes in Japan are winning every battle one after another until the only one that remains was between Izuku and Tomura. Roro watches the heroes help Izuku get through "All For One"'s attacks so he can get close and finish the fight for good. As the Soul siblings watched Izuku, they tells him to "do your best".[3]
