Pro Heroes, Trainees & Gigantomachia vs. All For One is a battle taken place during the Final War between a group of Heroes and Gigantomachia, against All For One.
Prologue[]
After being nearly incinerated by Endeavor, All For One was forced to use his last resort to survive, a reverse-engineered Quirk-Destroying Drug created by Kyudai Garaki, allowing his body to Rewind back to his prime state prior to his battle with All Might. However he has two caveats to worry about, one which is that the effect of the Rewind Drug is unable to be turned off, meaning his body will keep rewinding as it gets younger, until it eventually rewinds him out of existence, though he is contempt with that resolution.
The other more troubling issue for him is being aware of the unstable fusion between his vestige self and Tomura Shigaraki, to the point that his former pupil has managed to almost completely break free of his control during his battle with Deku. In order for himself to continue to live on for his ultimate goal, he needs to reach Tomura before he disappears to ensure his success.
For his benefit, his back-up plans in the form of the other League of Villains members arrive to aid him. Spinner successfully freed Kurogiri from his containment, and proceeded to warp both Dabi and a Twice-Transformed Himiko Toga onto the battlefield in Gunga. Dabi's Blueflames and Himiko's Sad Man's Parade prove incredibly overwhelming to the Heroes on the ground, forcing them to retreat. All For One laughs at the chain of events turning in his favor, intending to use the chaos as a cover to blast over to Tomura himself.
Just before he can, however, Hawks jumps in the way, halting him with his sword before being knocked backward. Hawks sarcastically asks him why he's in such a rush to leave, even despite the time-limit on his Rewind effect, having deduced that All For One doesn't have faith in Tomura's "perfect body" and that he intends to reunite with him. All For One admits the body isn't complete and that he is still essential for the process.
Hawks calls out to Endeavor, who is busy being confronted by Dabi, telling him that since their divide-and-conquer plan failed, he has to deal with his son, leaving All For One to him. All For One attempts to lambast Hawks by reminding him of Endeavor's injuries and that he shouldn't be abandoning his duty when his job is to stop him, but Hawks smugly responds that he's already lost to Endeavor once, so now he has a different duty.[1]
Battle[]
All For One continues to blast his way across the Gunga Mountains, while Hawks chases after him. He states his original intention was for Tomura to be completely usurped by his vestige self, and that melding minds with him was never part of the plan, due to his impulse for destruction eclipsing all his hopes. He explains that now that his main body has served its purpose, he just needs to inject his Quirk Factor into Tomura which will regain his complete control over it, thus completing the Demon Lord.
Hawks rushes forward toward the Villain, declaring he won't let him reach Tomura, all for the sake of their future. He swings his katana at All For One, using his Fierce Wings to attempt to feint him out, slicing at him again, but All For One is able to dodge each time. He eerily smiles that the wind seems to blow his way, and uses his Spatial Distortion Quirk, seemingly killing Hawks.
Tsukuyomi, who had been trying to fly behind and catch up to the two fighting, looks on devastatingly at the supposed death of his mentor. But suddenly, "Hawks" turns around to reveal a handsome, glittery face that simply fades away, shocking Tsukuyomi and confusing All For One. It turns out it was merely a Glamour illusion created by Illus-o-Camie, riding a Meatball finger.
The Shiketsu High School students were tasked with protecting the evacuees that were being transported between U.A. and Shiketsu, however when they didn't arrive, they believed something went wrong and arrived for backup. Shishikross used his Quirk to pull Hawks out of the way, allowing Illus-o-Camie to create her illusion, informing him of their intentions, while Gale Force uses his Whirlwind Quirk to neutralize most of the Twice Doubles overwhelming the Heroes on the ground, declaring to All For One he's the one who decides which way the wind blows.[2]
The three Shiketsu students look on surprised to see All For One's current state. Shishikross reflects on wanting nothing more than to kill All For One to avenge his father who died during his escape from Tartarus, but backed up by Gale Force, they know that will be giving into what he wants, and that he will honor his father and set out to protect. Chewyee arrives with the rest of the Shiketsu reinforcements, informing everyone that Deku and Tomura's battle has escaped from the U.A. cage, meaning they have to ensure the battles stay in Gunga. All the Heroes proceed to multi-task their forces to subdue Himiko's Doubles while throwing every ranged attack they have at All For One. Meanwhile, Tsukuyomi flies toward Pixie-Bob informing her about his plan.
The Heroes blast their attacks all over the battlefield, with Shishikross shooting his Meatball shots and Gale Force throwing hoards of Doubles toward All For One, which he blocks and rebuffs. Naomasa Tsukauchi calls into Hawks over the comms, telling him the Shiketsu students moved in before they could even request them, and telling him to stop All For One from getting away by any means necessary.
All For One looks on at the Doubles and Meatballs being thrown at him melting away, lamenting that he can only steal a Quirk by touching the user's true body, knowing that they were aware of this and only tried to face him with just two people but have now thrown caution to the wind in their attempt to take him down. He grins about them no longer holding back, and releases multiple appendages from his back, using them to unleash a ginormous explosion of black lightning that decimates the battlefield. Many of the Heroes are blown away by the assault, but they refuse to stay down, as many attempt to protect the others from the attacks, while continuing to throw their own attacks to keep him remaining in place. All For One monologues asking how they can believe they have a chance to stop him, being ignorant of the era when he was at the peak of his power, and how everyone trembled in fear unable to put a stop to him.
Gale Force counteracts by consuming All For One in his Whirlwind, rebutting that while they didn't know about him, they already knew about the state of the world from their history classes, and that he would rather just keep watching people like Shoto and Endeavor to see what they can do. Shishikross shoots more Meatballs into the Whirlwind, causing All For One to get irritated at them combining the ranged attacks into the whirlwind cage, deciding he should try and steal some now.
He unleashes a web of Rivet Stabs all around him, ravaging the battlefield once again and causing the Heroes to flee. One of the Rivets directly hits Gale Force, slicing the left part of his face, but despite that he continues his Whirlwind without fail, mentioning how his Quirk's even stronger on blustery days like it is currently, and reiterating his beliefs for the future. All For One can only look on annoyed at the look in their eyes, ignoring him and continuing to stoke the flames to bring back the light. He mocks them for still keeping their distance for fear of losing their Quirks, so they should just face him and accept their fate already.
But then, All For One is frozen as he senses a monstrous presence behind him in the form of a large Dark Shadow, realizing this was what spooked him the last time he was attacked by him. Taking advantage of the dark skies and windy storms, Tsukuyomi had approached Pixie-Bob to have her use her Quirk to cover him in the Earth, so that he could build up his darkness even more, and has now emerged using the Total Release technique to unleash Dark Shadow at his true power.
Deep within the heart of the giant beast that stands before All For One, Tsukuyomi declares that darkness comes in a range of shades, and that his muddied darkness he brings with him they have already devoured whole. He also reveals the reason he was brought alone to assist in the fight, knowing he couldn't steal Dark Shadow by touching the Quirk itself. Hawks appears behind Tsukuyomi to support him, and assisted by Gale Force's Whirlwind, Dark Shadow uses Black Abyss: Light of Baldur, transforming into a giant bird that completely pummels All For One down into the ground.[3] Tsukuyomi and Dark Shadow keep up their assault on All For One as Hawks gives him encouragement, to keep him pinned down until the Villain's time runs out. All the while the rest of the Heroes around them multi-task between dealing with Himiko's Doubles, with Earphone Jack telling everyone to provide Dark Shadow with more cover to fuel his darkness, which Illus-o-Camie is about to do by creating an aurora sky from her Glamour Quirk.
But before she can, All For One retaliates with a large explosion acting as a blast of light, breaking Dark Shadow's grip from him. All For One comments on how on obnoxious they all are, emerging from the dust now looking visibly younger than he was. He then turns around and uses a conjunction of his Quirks to blast himself into the air, attempting to escape the battlefield. Some Heroes try to cover up Dark Shadow back in darkness as they give chase, with Gale Force using his Whirlwind to boost them toward him so he won't escape.
As they are blazing across the mountains, All For One and Hawks both look to see Gigantomachia has suddenly re-appeared and is about to reach them. All For One smugly commands Machia to flatten them, but to his shock, instead the beast throws a chunk of the mountain at him, which he is forced to defend himself against, visibly irritated realizing it's the "pests" again.[4]
After the team of Heroes in Jaku City were successfully able to defeat the Villains attempting to free Gigantomachia, thanks to Hitoshi Shinso Brainwashing him, they had received report of All For One's current status from Naomasa and requested their assistance for backup. Mt. Lady, the Hitoshi-controlled Machia, and several of the Heroes riding on Machia's head, arrive to assist Tsukuyomi and Gale Force in keeping All For One contained. Dark Shadow tries to force himself to grab in, Gale Force sends more Whirlwinds surrounding him, Mt. Lady smacks him with enlarged weapons, Machia throws more mountain chunks at him, and several Heroes on the ground shoot more ranged attacks, all with All For One desperately defending himself.[5]
Tsukuyomi comments how Hitoshi's Brainwashing being effective to control Machia, but Hawks responds that they're taking a gamble by having Mt. Lady protect him, since they know if All For One can get a successful hit on him, it will break him free of the Brainwashing. All For One looks on to realize that Machia is under the spell of a manipulation Quirk, figuring that was how the Aoyama Family was able to deceive him too, and annoyingly retaliates by releasing several blasts from his hand, directly hitting Machia.
Hawks calls out to Red Riot, who uses his Hardening Quirk to protect Hitoshi from getting seriously damaged from the attack, but Machia is still freed from his control. However, to everyone's shock, after Machia begins to speak, saying how even though he looks different he can sense that All For One is his master, he asks why he left him behind. It turns out that Machia felt betrayed that after waiting in hiding for so long for him, and after finally being reunited during the Paranormal Liberation War, he was just abandoned and left behind.
Hitoshi points out that he and Deku are the only ones who have ever put up a fight against his Brainwashing, but even despite that, he was still muttering about his anger over being betrayed the entire time. He says that he's just along for the ride as a safety feature, and that while his Quirk may seem villainous, it doesn't control a person's heart. Realizing they now have Machia on their side, Hawks mockingly tells All For One nobody's on board with his "grand tale", while he can only look on with increased irritation in his eyes, as the team continues to pummel him into the ground until he vanishes.[6]
The destruction continues around them as Mt. Lady breaks another one of her giant weapons, asking Rule and Emily for another. They hand her the only remaining Detnerat stuff lying around, which she proceeds to use to continue pounding All For One. Tsukuyomi continues his assault with Hawks apologizing only being able to be his wingman, but his student replies his support grants his Light of Baldur more speed. Just as Mt. Lady is about to throw the giant support item down, All For One retaliates with his Mouth Quirk, slicing her stomach open, causing her to fall to the ground.
All For One takes advantage of the moment of hesitation to counter Gigantomachia, unleashing a devastating blast of energy that annihilates half of his body and killing him, screaming, āa dog that bites must be put down!ā. All For One begins to regenerate all his injuries, commenting on how he is starting to become influenced by Tomura, feeling that the younger he becomes, the more untameable the darkness within him grows. He unleashes a dangerously powerful attack, destroying his arm in the process, but also completely annihilating Dark Shadow, with Hawks only barely protecting Tsukuyomi from most of the damage. The Heroes can only watch on in fear as All For One once again regenerates, saying that the more he gives himself to his darkness, the more he can draw on his Quirks' latent potential.
As the dust settles, all the Heroes are left lying on the ground, bloody and beaten by All For One's rampage. He stands before Hawks, choking him out, saying his intention to steal Tsukuyomi's Quirk as retribution for causing him so much trouble. Hawks uselessly resists, still attempting to stab him with his katana, as All For One steals his Fierce Wings Quirk, which ends up only appearing in its weakened form due to its damaged Quirk Factor. Hawks realizes that his stocked Quirks aren't effected by the rewinding because they are considered external factors.
Just then, Grape Juice throws one of his Pop Off balls at All For One's legs, desperately begging him not to take Dark Shadow and to steal his Quirk instead. All For One can only look at his eyes and see it as the "howls of the weak", and not wanting to waste anymore time, leaves. He notices a news copter in the air, telling the defeated Heroes on the ground to let the people witness the carnage so they can lose faith in them all over again, blasting away towards Tomura.[7]
Aftermath[]
All For One continues to fly past city to city, getting closer and closer to reaching Tomura's location at U.A., with the Counter-Force despairingly trying to find some way to stop him before then. Between most of the Heroes being defeated, the Underground Evacuation facility being disrupted, and Dabi on the verge of a meltdown that will take out everyone in the vicinity, they ran out of opens.
To their surprise, All Might had left the HQ, despite Naomasa's insistence to flee. All Might realizes that in All For One's current state, he is leaning to heavily into his rage, meaning that if he sees him, he will have no choice but to face him. Revealing an assortment of support items that begin to cover himself, All Might declares "I AM HERE", while All For One can only look down at his former nemesis with a disturbing grin.[8]
