Overdrive (五速 (オーバードライブ) Ōbādoraibu?), full name Gearshift: Overdrive (変 (へん) 速 (そく) ・五速 (オーバードライブ) Hensoku - Ōbādoraibu?), is an Ultimate Move performed by Izuku Midoriya using the Gearshift and Fa Jin Quirks.[1]

Description[]

By activating Gearshift on himself, Izuku is able to propel his body at great speeds toward his opponents in order to land powerful attacks. This boost in speed and power is able to be applied to existing Ultimate Moves. Fa Jin is also used to give the move even greater speed.

Izuku first uses this move against "Tomura Shigaraki" during the Final War, in which he performs an Overdrive-enhanced Detroit Smash against the villain.[2]
