Personality[]
From the chaos of the war's aftermath, the Ordinary Woman became fearful when people started getting hurt, even more so when she was mistaken for a villain and attacked by hostile civilians. She only wants things to return to normal in Japan and became downtrodden after being turned away from other shelters because of her Mutant Quirk. Despite this, she was elated to see Izuku again and thanked him for saving her with tears in her eyes.
Synopsis[]
Dark Hero Arc[]
As the Paranormal Liberation War concluded, casualties were at first mild in the Ordinary Woman's home city, causing her to hide at home and hope that the chaos would blow over. After people started getting hurt in her area however, she chose to evacuate in order to find a shelter.
During a stormy night however, three civilians attacked the woman with support items, mistaking her as a villain. She pleads with them to stop, saying that she hasn't done anything wrong and that she's just scared. The civilians do not relent however, believing that she's only trying to get them to lower their guards. One of them fires at her with an arm cannon, but Deku arrives on the scene and saves her by deflecting the attack. He then tries to calm the civilians down, saying that it's a stormy night and that everyone's on edge but assures that the woman is no threat to them. Intimidated by his arrival, the civilians flee while saying that the woman is still to blame for wandering around at night while looking like she does.
The woman apologizes to Deku, saying that she was slow to evacuate and upon leaving to find shelter she was attacked. Deku floats up to the woman and hands her an umbrella, comforting her by saying that everyone else is just as scared. She questions if everything will return to normal somehow, and Deku says that he will make it so. As Deku begins to take his leave, All Might arrives in the Hercules and Deku asks him if he can help the woman get to a shelter, the woman is confused and shocked at All Might's appearance.[2]
The woman then went to multiple shelters seeking refuge, but she was turned away because of her Mutant Quirk. At some point, she arrived at U.A. High School, who allowed her to enter. Upon Izuku Midoriya's return to U.A. amongst the civilians protesting the boy's entry, she soon recognised him as the one who saved her. Following Ochaco Uraraka's speech to the civilians and Izuku's emotional breakdown, she runs up to him along with Kota Izumi. Izuku recognises her as she picks him up, saying that even though she was turned away from the other shelters, she's glad because it meant that she got to see him again while tearing up and thanking him for saving her. Both of them hug and console Izuku, as both of them had been saved and consoled by him. After the civilians come to their senses, they allow Izuku to enter, the woman then sees him inside amongst the crowd alongside Kota and Izuku's classmates.[3]
U.A. Traitor Arc[]
Prior to the Final War, the woman along with other refugees told Mezo Shoji about a "call to action" led by Spinner, wanting the heteromorph army to aid in storming Central Hospital as payback for the discrimination they faced. This would lead Mezo and Koji Koda to request being a part of the team defending the hospital, not wanting to let the embittered army have their way. Their request is granted by Shota Aizawa and All Might.[4]
During Class 1-A's departure from U.A., she is seen bidding farewell to Mezo and shaking his hand.[5]
