Omori Furiko ( (ふり) () オモリ Furiko Omori?) is a teenage boy in love with Ochaco Uraraka from My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions.[1]

Appearance[]

Omori is a young man with short, almost blocky hair, bushy eyebrows, and large, pale eyes. His hair appears to be naturally be quite messy, but when he tries to look good he keeps is neat and pushed back.

When he went to confess his love to Ochaco, he wore a white suit, dress pants, and a tie.

Personality[]

Omori is a fairly flamboyant person, with his initial confession plan being composed of a short speech and a dance number. Additionally, he appears to have an overactive imagination, and subconsciously invented an entire fabricated persona for his imagined version of Ochaco.

However, despite this, he is able to recognize flaws in himself and his thoughts, and realized after he actually met Ochaco that he had been assigning aspects to her that did not exist. He remains respectful even after this happens, and continues to support Ochaco's career as a Hero while recognizing that he loved a fake version of her.

Synopsis[]

One day, during Omori's commute to school, a car got stuck on the train tracks and delayed his train. While he panicked over potentially being late, a group of heroes came to move it, including Uravity, and Omori instantly fell in love with her. When he later returned home, he researched the incident, and discovered that she was still a Hero student at U.A. High School.

A few months later, Omori worked up the courage to visit U.A. and profess his love for her, getting a suit tailor-made for the occasion. However, before he could confess, he collapsed outside the school due to lovesickness. He was found there by Tenya Ida, Eijiro Kirishima, Yuga Aoyama, Fumikage Tokoyami, and Minoru Mineta.

After a diagnosis from Recovery Girl, Omori woke up, and the boys asked him what was wrong. He explained his goal of confessing his love to the hero he had witnessed, and the U.A. students offered to help. They each offered various advice for how he should confess, culminating in Eijiro challenging him to a duel to prove his love. The two boys fought for a long while, badly ripping Omori's suit in the process, but he remained standing, passing Eijiro's challenge.

As they finished, Omori noticed Ochaco returning to U.A., and ran over to confess, surprising the boys as they didn't know who he wanted to confess to. However, Omori's exhaustion caused him to falter as he ran, and in a desperate burst of energy, he jumped towards Ochaco, who mistook him for a villain attacking her. She grabbed Omori in midair and slammed him into the ground, causing the boys to run over in a panic; meanwhile, Omori realized that he had actually fallen in love with his idea of Ochaco, while not knowing her as a person at all. While he continued to respect her and recognized her combat prowess, he had fallen in love with a gentle, non-violent angel who did not exist.

Dusting himself off, Omori explained to Ochaco how he had first seen her, and stated his support for her budding career as a Hero.
