Using his Quirk abilities, Tamaki replicates the cloaking abilities of octopuses to mask his presence with the surroundings so he can attack his target by surprise.
Tamaki first used this technique in combination with Scorpius Toxin to approach "Tomura Shigaraki" undetected and sting him from behind to inject poison into him.[1]
