Maximum Speed

Maximum Speed (全 (ぜん) 速 (そく) 力 (りょく) , Zensoku Ryoku^?) is an Ultimate Move performed by Tenya Ida using the Engine Quirk.

Description[]

Tenya charges his Engines to the absolute maximum, then releases that charge, travelling at speeds that supercede even those of Recipro Turbo. This move is so fast that it is able to deal damage to surrounding buildings just by flying past them.

Tenya first uses this move during the Final War, in order to reach the Gunga Mountain Ruins from Kamino.^[1] During this, it is paired with Shoto Todoroki's Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk to generate a fighter jet-style craft made of ice to reduce drag, as well as to heat the surrounding air to reduce friction, allowing it to reach even greater speeds.^[2]^[3]
