Maina Furasu ( () () () (まい) () Furasu Maina?) is a student of U.A. High School's Department of Support from Class 1-H.[1]

After the Final War, Maina has moved up a year, becoming a student in Class 2-H.

Appearance[]

Maina is a very timid girl with dark brown hair that is tied into a ponytail from the back with a headband that has two blue bells on the side, with a flat screw head on the left and a screwdriver head on the right popping up. She has an average build and wide eyes. As a student of the U.A. Support Department, she wears the standard plain beige workshop coveralls.

Personality[]

Maina is often very timid so much that she isn't as energetic or very assertive like her classmate, Mei Hatsume. Yet, she is also brave enough to get recognized to join the Heroes in the Final War against an army of Villains led by All For One. She is also very easy to be surprised, as she finds other behaviors rather bizarre in the desperate times, like when she saw the Management Department students with their phones recording the entire battle. Nonetheless, she is also dutiful with her role, as Maina makes sure she can keep up her work.

Synopsis[]

Final War Arc[]

With Tomura Shigaraki's completion approaching, the Heroes' plan to defeat the villains for good begins to take into effect. Knowing that All For One is keeping tabs on the Heroes through Search, his mole Yuga Aoyama and his family are utilized in order to lure him out of hiding. Their next step of the plan is to make use of Kurogiri's Warp Gate to allow them to warp themselves into the fight, to catch All For One off guard, as well as warp the villains to locations all over Japan, separating them.[2]

The Heroes successfully warp all the Villains all over Japan, with Tomura being teleported to the now floating in the Sky U.A., designed to contain and defeat him. Maina and the Support Department students are in charge of maintaining the U.A. Fortress while being supplied by Momo Yaoyorozu. Maina finds several students from the Business Course filming a documentary of the events, berating them for doing it at a time like this. They instead respond back that all the past wars were filmed and documented, and it is their job to promote Heroes and act as the bridge for the rest of society; it is the culmination of their three years of studies and will show how they all achieved victory today.[3]

However, the worse has come when a freed Kurogiri uses his Warp Gate to teleport himself to the location where Eraser Head and Neito Monoma are using Erasure on Tomura, and get them to undo it by attacking them. As a result, Tomura unleashes a massive explosion, destroying most of the U.A. Fortress. With the power line busted and the electromagnetic barrier barely standing, the Management Students desperately try to keep up with repairs but find it troubling. Mandalay then reports in that someone has hacked into their system and they have lost control of the flight system, causing the fortress to fall from the sky.

As U.A. is on a collision course to impact a nearby coastal city, they are saved when it suddenly stops, with Mandalay reporting that it feels like the air has become a trampoline. This is thanks to Gentle intervening with his Quirk.[4]

Abilities[]

Overall Abilities: While Maina has no combat experience like Mei Hatsume, she is intelligent enough to be a part of the U.A Support Course.
