Synopsis
This superpowered society is a gilded daydream seen through rose-colored glasses. But it's paper-thin. A fragile illusion. Say you bring back the status quo. Then what? History will just repeat itself. The public gets to stargaze at the bright and shiny side... while the dark truth gnaws away at someone else. At least a future ruled by All For One... will be a helluva lot more transparent.
Lady Nagant to Izuku Midoriya in "The Lovely Lady Nagant"

Lady Nagant (レディ・ナガン Redi Nagan?)[1] is a villain who used to be a Pro Hero. She was freed from Tartarus by a riot caused by All For One in Tomura Shigaraki's body.

Appearance

Lady Nagant is a tall, curvy woman with dark blue and pink two-tone hair and angled eyebrows. She wears light boots, a dark, sleeveless dress and a metallic utility belt in which she stores bullets in.

In the past, she had longer hair, which was wrapped in a ponytail. Her hero costume was a simple dark bodysuit with two plates underneath her chest and knee guards. She also wore a long scouter over her right eye, which was in the shape of a lightning bolt.

Personality

Lady Nagant is a serious and disciplined woman, she does not hesitate to hurt people to fulfill her mission or achieve her goals. She can be very casual and rather fearless, as she is one of the few people who is not afraid of All For One, even addressing him in a familiar way. She actually hides a more empathetic side because she regrets having blood on her hands after having worked with the Commission.

In the past, she had an optimistic outlook in her desire to be a great Hero, however her ruthless and secret work for the Public Safety Commission left her jaded and disillusioned. Being forced to kill people to preserve a false sense of security and suppress opponents, she developed a cynical outlook on life and grew to detest the hypocrisy and fragility of hero society.

She appears to pity the victims of heroic society such as Kai Chisaki, whom she sees as broken and seeks to make useful, even if it meant putting his life in danger.

Izuku Midoriya, however, pointed out that Lady Nagant wasn't serious about killing Kai because the trajectory of the bullet she fired at him was a little off, and furthermore, he surmised she isn't as supportive of All For One as she claimed to be, because she could've easily fulfilled the contract to capture Izuku without engaging in battle. This indicates that despite having a cynical view on Heroes and society as a whole, she still seems to care about her duties of a Hero, and after witnessing Izuku's skill in battle, as well as how he managed to save both Kai and herself with no hesitation, Lady Nagant deems Izuku to be a true Hero.

Abilities

Overall Abilities: Lady Nagant is an incredibly powerful villain with skills even recognized by All For One, the most powerful villain in Japan, and feared by Hawks, the current No. 2 Pro Hero. As a former hero of the Hero Public Safety Commission, and Hawks' senior, it is assumed she was privy to many of the same training regimes and harnessed a vast amount of skills working for them, making her Hawks' top priority.[1]

Sniping Skill: Lady Nagant is considered to be the best long range fighter in the country. Even Snipe, a prominent Pro Hero with a Quirk that improves his ranged attacks, admits that he can't hope to compete with her, as she far outclasses his Quirk with raw skill alone. Her skill is so great she was able to hit Deku from over a kilometer away, despite heavy rainfall, it being night at the time, and her target's greatly enhanced speed and ability to detect danger,[2] and was able to land a hit while moving in mid-air with her rifle pointed behind her back.[3]

Enhanced Eyesight: Lady Nagant seemingly has a superhuman level of eyesight, being able to easily hit targets from up to three kilometers away without any visible scope. Her sight is seemingly unaffected by either darkness or weather conditions such as heavy rainfall.

Quirks

Rifle (ライフル Raifuru?): Lady Nagant's Quirk allows her to extend a rifle from her right elbow. She can extend a tendril from her rifle that she can curl up to form a scope. She can also create various types of bullets, such as hollow-point bullets and curving bullets, from her hair by twisting and molding her bi-colored locks like Epoxy putty and hardening it to be as strong as any ammo. The range of her rifle fire is three kilometers.

Air Walk (エアウォーク Ea Wōku?): Lady Nagant's second Quirk allows her to levitate in mid-air. She received this Quirk from All For One, who gave it to her as a form of payment for going after Deku.

Unnamed Self-Destruct Quirk: Lady Nagant's third Quirk allows All For One to detonate her body from afar, creating a massive explosion and leaving her charred. All For One gave this Quirk to her as a contingency in case she changed her mind about helping him.[4]
