The Crawler & Pro Heroes vs. Number 6 is the final battle of Operation Anonymous between the Vigilante The Crawler and numerous Pro Heroes against the Villain Number 6.

Prologue[]

Eraser Head saves Koichi from Number 6

Eraser Head reunites with Koichi.

After the seemingly endless battle between Koichi and Number 6, Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, Ingenium, and Eraser Head finally return to take care of the situation.[1] The heroes coordinate their efforts to evacuate the civilians from the area. Best Jeanist reassures the citizens, informing them that they have already contacted various Hero Teams and that help is on the way, so they must quickly leave the place. Edgeshot glides over the city, keeping an eye on Number 6 to report any movement, while Ingenium and his team are in charge of evacuating the civilians, being assisted by the FeatherHATS and the Hopper's Cafe crews.

Still up in the air, Koichi is comforted to see that the Pro Heroes have finally arrived to help, at which point he begins to fall to the ground from exhaustion. Using his Capturing Weapon, Eraser Head saves a free-falling Koichi, pulling him back down onto the streets while also bandaging up his fractured left arm.

Meanwhile, the Buster Union team, led by Mister Blaster, heads towards the battle, bringing Present Mic with them.[2]

Battle[]

Koichi and Shota fight together against Number 6

Koichi and Eraser Head fight together against Number 6.

Even though he seems upset that Koichi ended up with several broken bones for not following his advice not to meddle with dangerous enemies, Eraser Head appreciates his courage for standing up to Number 6. He then grabs the young vigilante to sneak through the alleys, while telling him he knows the villain is after him, so he needs him to act as bait for a while longer until a capable hero arrives to face the gigantic Number 6. Koichi asks about his Erasure, which he replies he can't use it because the villain's body glows too much to prevent proper visual confirmation.

Number 6 finally catches up to Koichi and Eraser Head and attempts to crush Koichi with a massive punch. Fortunately, Eraser Head pulls him out of the way with his Capturing Weapon, causing the villain to smash a building. As the hero swings Koichi to draw him onto a rooftop, the vigilante shoots several repulsion blasts at Number 6.

Number 6 makes his body explode

Number 6 explodes into a barrage of mini bombers.

Despite the struggle escalating, an increasing number of civilians from Naruhata come closer to the battle to cheer and encourage "The Cruller" in his fight. Some heroes like Ingenium ask them to leave the area immediately, but no one obeys and they continue cheering Koichi on to succeed in defeating the villain. Eraser Head comments to Koichi his concern about the citizensā€™ actions, because not only does it make the evacuation more complicated, but he fears that they are also irritating and agitating Number 6.

Sure enough, seeing how the citizens are showing their support for Koichi while booing him greatly affects Number 6. All he wanted was to be a hero praised by everybody, however, just the opposite has happened. People despise him while all his dreams have come true for Koichi. Unable to bear the situation any longer, Number 6 shouts a desperate howl of rage, before making his body explode by overloading it, splitting apart into dozens of smaller versions of himself, spreading everywhere, and blowing themselves up to cause a widespread damage.

Number 6's bombers cause a widespread damage

Panic is unleashed among civilians.

The arriving Mister Blaster and his team suddenly feel helpless in the face of the situation, only to hear a voice saying that the Buster Union team is not specialized in dealing with multiple targets. When he looks up into the sky, he sees a plane that Endeavor and his sidekick Burnin jump out of. The Flaming Hero proclaims he is going to take charge of the situation.[3]

The mini bombers continue to attack and blow themselves up indiscriminately, causing extensive damage to buildings and putting the civilians in danger, while Team Idaten, Hopperā€™s Cafe, and Narufest employees continue to help out with the evacuation.

Best Jeanist prevents a building from collapsing on civilians

Best Jeanist uses his Quirk to stop a building from collapsing.

One of Number 6ā€™s mini bombers is about to blow up two civilians, but Edgeshot jumps in the way, being caught in the blast. To the civilians surprise, Edgeshot appears next to them unscathed, since he was able to use his Substitution Jutsu technique to switch himself with a log that absorbed the attack and save them. For his part, Best Jeanist uses his Fiber Master Quirk to prevent a building damaged by the explosions from collapsing on a group of citizens, leaving him almost completely naked by using almost all the fibers of his hero costume.

Meanwhile, hanging from the side of a building, Koichi and Eraser Head observe the chaos that's occurring. Noticing how Number 6's bombers behave and move, Koichi understands that they are dedicated to attacking without a specific goal, just haphazardly zipping around. As Koichi looks around for the main body, Eraser Head notices something going in the rubble down below, and jumps in to investigate.

All Might defeats all of Number 6's bombers

All Might saves the day...

Meanwhile, as he descends towards the ground, Burnin tells Endeavor that they can't attack yet due to the chaotic situation, but Endeavor states they can't sit back while the destruction continues. After ensuring that he would take full responsibility for any inconvenience that occurs, Endeavor states that he will minimize the damage while also taking care of all the villains. As he is about to begin his assault, Endeavor notices something approaching behind him, descending from the sky and passing right by him at high speed. On the ground, Detective Naomasa is pleased to learn that "he" has finally arrived.

As soon as he saw on the news what was happening in the streets of Naruhata, All Might immediately left the Might Tower. Once he lands into the city, All Might punches all of Number 6's mini bombers, at a speed so fast it appears as if there's multiple of him, while also proclaiming to everyone that they have nothing to fear because he is there.

Prominence Burn - Vigilantes

...and so does Endeavor.

Everyone is shocked to see how he sends each and every villain into the air with his punches, leaving them in an ideal position for Endeavor to destroy the bombers harmlessly. Although annoyed by All Might's intervention and refusing to thank him for his help, the Flaming Hero immediately uses his Flashfire Fist: Prominence Burn attack to completely eradicate all the bombers with a single furious blaze.

With this it seems that the crisis is finally over. However, the vestige of All For One appears in front of the last remains of Number 6, and encourages him to try again one last time. He states that now no one can stop him, as Number 6 start to regrow his body.[4]

Aftermath[]

While the heroes are busy rescuing people trapped under the debris, and providing assistance to the citizens, Number 6 uses the last of his strength to search for Koichi, despite barely being able to hold his damaged body any longer. All For One reflects on his current burnt up display, assuring him that he won't last much longer but urges him to hunt Koichi down.

Number 6 slices Koichi's face

Number 6 scars Koichi.

By stealth and using Overclock to keep himself out-of-sight, Number 6 manages to reach the rooftop where Koichi is, without him noticing his presence. All For One's vestige encourages him to take advantage of the situation to kill him with one quick strike, also telling him to collect his body for him to study. To his surprise, Number 6 disobeys his orders and brushes the visage away. After changing his face into "Rokuro Nomura"'s, he calls out to Koichi.

Despite everything that has happened, Koichi seems quite relieved to see Number 6 again, and suggests they should head to the hospital together, but Number 6 says its too late for him: Koichi's "nice guy" act is pointless since there is nothing that can stop him from dying. Koichi doesn't seem to understand Number 6's speech so he keeps suggesting going to the hospital.

Number 6 immolates himself in front of Koichi

Number 6 goes out on his own terms.

Exasperated, Number 6 tells him that all he wants is meaning and proof he existed. Then he suddenly attacks Koichi, giving him a lasting scar as what he will leave behind in the world. Laughing, Number 6 exclaims that every time he sees the scar, he'll remember him. He then allows himself to go out in one final detonation, knocking Koichi unconscious.

In his final moments, Number 6 maintains that he has no strong memories of anything worth remembering, but then he begins to recall Kazuho's song, remembering that it was really nice and even made him cry when he first heard it. Soon after, Eraser Head founds the unconscious Koichi, and takes him away to be healed.[5]
