Jin Bubaigawara vs. Tomoyasu Chikazoku is a battle fought between League of Villains member Twice and Meta Liberation Army top executive Skeptic.
Prologue[]
Following Himiko Toga's brutal skirmish with Curious, Twice finds her bloodied and unconscious body inside a shed. Horrified, Twice's split personalities argue over whether or not the girl will survive with her grievous injuries. Unbeknownst to him, Twice is being tracked by Skeptic of the Liberation Army.
Skeptic hopes to draft Jin into the Liberation Army to make use of his Quirk so sent his remote control puppets to capture him. Thanks to the information he obtained from Giran's laptop, Skeptic knows about Twice's trauma caused when the clones he created with his own Quirk killed each other, causing him to lose his true sense of himself, He used his Anthropomorph Quirk to create human puppets that look exactly like Jin when he's unmasked.
The puppet surrounds Twice, who begins to suffer a mental breakdown when he sees that they all have the same face as him. The puppets pounce on him as Twice screams in terror as he relives his trauma.[1]
Battle[]
The puppet swarm overrun Twice and rips his mask off. Twice begs them to stop, but one of the puppets tosses him aside, while another two hold him to the ground, while the remaining puppets rush in and grab Himiko Toga. Skeptic uses comms and receivers designed by Detnerat to command his puppets with specific orders, telling them to hold down Himiko and twist her neck.
Twice's psyche begins to break and split apart without his mask, while watching the "Jins" try to kill Himiko. He remembers growing up without any luck or anyone he could trust, not even himself after the incident with his doubles. Giran helped him find friends and a place to belong, where he met Himiko, who always helped him.
Refusing to allow her to die, Twice momentarily breaks free and makes a mad dash to save his friend. Surprised by the unforeseen event that Twice decided to fight back rather than flee or cower in place, Skeptic nonetheless orders his puppets to stop him. The puppets attack Twice, knock him down with a punch, and all four puppets beat him up before restraining him once again.
Decided that no unforeseen happens again. Tomoyasu directs two puppets to break Twice's arms, which they do. Skeptic didn't expect this much unity from the League of Villains and warns Twice to come quietly if he wants his legs to remain intact. He also order his puppets and to go harder on Himiko who is slowly starting to wake up.
Screaming in pain now with two broken arms, Twice admits his arms hurt a lot, but he's overjoyed that his body remains intact. This allows him to overcome his fear of possibly being a clone. Empowered, Twice creates several doubles of himself that knock the puppets out of the way, saving Himiko's life. Jin threatens the Liberation Army with the deadliness of his Quirk.[2]
Finding Skeptic in trouble, several citizens of Deika rush to assist him, but are dumbfounded when they see an increasing number of Twices. Using Sad Man's Parade Twice floods the streets of Deika City with countless doubles of himself. They spread out to help support all the other members of the League. The citizens try to stop them but they are quickly overwhelmed by the numerical superiority of the clones.
Meanwhile, from above the tower, Re-Destro tells Skeptic he's surprised by his failure. Enraged, Skeptic storms out of the tower, claiming he's only failed once in his entire life and heās just waiting to make his next move, heading down the tower.[3]
While the Sad Man's Parade supports Tomura Shigaraki and the others, Jin's true unmasked self focuses on measuring Himiko so he can perform a blood transfusion using a double of her.[4] One of the Twice clones goes out to investigate the area, being attacked by Skeptic and his troop of puppets. An enraged Skeptic keeps creating clones on his way to Twice and Himiko, while ranting Jin's name and constantly claiming he'll never fail at his mission.[5]
Twice and Skeptic's conflict is abruptly ended when Gigantomachia reaches Deika City, destroying everything on his way to Tomura's location.[6]
Aftermath[]
As the giant starts tearing through the Liberation Army soldiers, Skeptic shifts his attention to protecting the Grand Commander, warning him of the beast's approach.
While Skeptic and his puppets are distracted, Twice and a few of his clones get to safety with Himiko. Twice notices that the fodder soldiers aren't even chipping away at Gigantomachia's health at all. He worries because the giant is headed straight for Tomura.[7]
