Izuku Midoriya vs. Beros & Rogone is a battle between Endeavor's trainee Deku and Humarise agents Beros and Rogone.

Prologue[]

Humarise arrives to where Rody is

Unbeknownst to him, Rody is about to give the briefcase to Humarise.

After escaping from Beros and the police, Deku is declared a murderous criminal while Rody is accused of being his accomplice, and they are wanted throughout Otheon. Deku deduces the people behind all of this want the briefcase that Rody took by mistake, but after checking it, nothing that seems important is found. Rody suggests handing over the briefcase to settle everything, but Deku is against it because those who want it would kill them anyway, and since they can't even trust the police, their best option is to make their way over to the neighboring country of Klayd, where Otheon police have no jurisdiction.

However, Rody is distressed over leaving his siblings alone, so when they stop to sleep in an old farmhouse after a long trip, he takes the briefcase without waking Deku up and leaves to report to the police, ignoring the warnings of Pino. Deku is woken up by the little bird and goes looking for him. Outside, Rody waits patiently until a helicopter arrives, unaware that Humariseā€™s agents Rogone and Beros are in it, sent there to recover the case after the sect was informed by their followers in the police forces.[1]

Battle[]

Rogone blocks Izuku's attack

Deku stops Rogone from killing Rody.

Rogone demands Rody to hand over the briefcase. Thinking that he is a police officer, Rody complies without question, thinking they'll stop chasing him. Unfortunately for him, Rogone asks him about Deku, since he can't leave witnesses alive who might know the secret that the case contains. To Rody's horror, Rogone transforms into a large ogre-like monster with spiked Iron Clubs for arms. The terrified Rody pleads for his life, assuring him that he knows nothing and just wants to return to his siblings, but the cultist ignores his pleas and sets out to crush him with one of his arm-clubs.

Before the villain can kill him, Deku appears and fires a Delaware Smash Air Force at Rogone, but after seeing the villain blocking the shot of compressed air with one of his clubs, he decides to attack him with a St. Louis Smash while Rogone strikes with a club swipe. Both attacks collide, but Deku's is more powerful and throws Rogone against the helicopter, destroying it and knocking him unconscious.

Izuku saves Rody from Bero's arrow

Deku is wounded protecting Rody from Beros' attack.

After defeating the villain, Deku runs towards Rody, who thinks he is going to attack him, not knowing that what he really wants is to save his life, since he saw Beros was also there and that she had shot one of her arrows at the thief. Using his own body as a shield to protect Rody, the arrow pierces Dekuā€™s chest. Beros prepares to fire one more time, but Deku is faster and attacks her with a St. Louis Smash Air Force. Although the air blast isn't enough to defeat the villain, it generates a thick cloud of dust, which Deku uses to escape together with Rody despite his injury.

When the dust clears, Beros checks that neither Deku nor Rody are no longer there, and they have taken the briefcase with them.[1]

Aftermath[]

Izuku and Rody talk in a cave

Deku and Rody get to know each other better.

Once they are safe, Deku removes the arrow. Fortunately for him, the wound is not very deep since his cell phone blocked most of the force of the arrow, yet he no longer has a way to contact with his teammates. Deku asks Rody to use his first aid kit to treat the wound, and after doing so, they hide in a cave.

Rody asks him why he saved his life despite having betrayed him, when he could have fled on his own with the briefcase, without forgetting that he is also a criminal. Deku replies that he can't think of abandoning someone in danger, no matter who they are, as he wants to become a hero like All Might. These statements make Rody open up to him and thank him for his help. After resting for the night, they continue their journey towards the border.

Meanwhile, Flect Turn orders his followers to do everything possible to prevent them from reaching Klayd.[1]
