Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo & Shoto Todoroki vs. Enji Todoroki, also known as Endeavor's Mission where Endeavor fights his trainees Deku, Bakugo and Shoto to see if they are competent enough to participate in a World Heroes Association mission.

Prologue

Endeavor and the WH associates explain the reason for the test

During their Work Study, Endeavor takes Izuku, Katsuki,and Shoto to a special facility where they inform them that they are going to be tested, being evaluated by members of the "World Heroes Association." They explain to the trainees that the association is getting ready to convene and now they must be tested to see whether they've hit a level where they can join.

Endeavor explains that they must land an attack on him within three minutes. If one of them succeeds, all three will pass the test and be able to join the overseas mission. But if they fail to hit him within the time limit, they'll be staying home. With everything explained, the associates leave to monitor the confrontation.

Battle

Endeavor prevents Deku from hitting him

As soon as the test begins, the three students decide to disperse. Given the power gap between them and Endeavor, Izuku thinks that their best option is a sneak attack, taking advantage of the maze-like arena they're fighting in. Katsuki is the first to try, approaching Endeavor from above to attack him, but the No. 1 Pro Hero notices him and blasts him with fire, forcing Katsuki to dodge the attack and back off, with the student noting Endeavor's incredible reflexes.

Shoto is the next to try, going at him from the front. He uses his Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk to attack his father with a wave of ice, but Endeavor just raises his arm and uses his fire to easily melt Shoto's attack. Shoto already figured his attack wouldn't work, but that it helped give Izuku an opening. Izuku comes behind Endeavor to punch him, but unfortunately the hero simply uses his flames to push him back. As Endeavor taunts them that they are starting from square one, they are informed that there are only two minutes remaining.

Deku manages to punch Endeavor

After their sneak attacks on Endeavor failed, the three students opt for another strategy and go at him all at once, but Endeavor just blows them all away with his Hellflame Quirk, subduing them with ease. With one minute remaining, the associates notice the three are nearly down-and-out. They ask Endeavor to hold back a bit since it's just a test and they never expected them to be much of a match for him, but the hero replies by telling them not to underestimate the students, letting the associates know of U.A.'s motto borrowed from the western world, “Plus Ultra”.

The three boys get right back up and start to form tactics to get one in on Endeavor. Katsuki uses his Explosion Quirk to quickly surround the Hero and come at him from behind, destabilizing him with a blast. Then Shoto comes in with his own fire, which Endeavor compliments. The smoke created from the fire distracts him enough that Izuku is able to approach him and deliver a solid punch to his stomach.

Amazed by this feat, the associates announce that the time limit has run out.

Aftermath

Izuku, Katsuki and Shoto reflect on their victory each in their own way, thinking about what aspects they need to improve. Endeavor tells them they pass, and the associates take them to a room where they can design special stealth suits for their mission, which the three are each excited about.
