Haishin (
Appearance[]
Haishin is a man with short two-tone hair, stubble under his chin, and pointed ears with earrings. He wears a t-shirt with his name on it and a black long-sleeved shirt underneath.
Personality[]
Haishin is a cheery social media influencer who hosts charity events, such as handing out free desserts to people. He has an energetic, slightly pushy attitude during his videos, causing Mina Ashido to assume that he's an "acquired taste".
Synopsis[]
Ochaco Uraraka, Mina Ashido, Kyoka Jiro, and Toru Hagakure walk back to U.A. High School after finishing some karaoke exercise when Haishin calls them out. Toru recognizes him as an online influencer, with Haishin revealing that he's doing a video where he hands out sidewalk sweets. The girls are put off slightly by his loud attitude, but soon realize that he's handing out sugar bombs, a trending treat that people have been lining up for. While they are tempted, the girls refuse his offer due to being on a diet to prepare for going to the Tropical water park and to hone their self-discipline. Haishin reminds them that the treats are free, yet the girls painfully refuse and walk away, leaving Haishin confused.
The girls struggle to maintain their diet with only a short while to go until their visit to the water park. However, Kyoka picks up on a loud noise from nearby. Some civilians are running, warning them that a villain is going nuts. A suited villain with a dark energy Quirk attacks Haishin. The influencer asks what he did to deserve this, with the villain saying that he makes those with regular jobs look like fools and that he won't stand for it. Mina, Ochaco, Toru, and Kyoka come to Haishin's aid and try to fight the villain with their ultimate moves, but he blasts the girls away, saying that Haishin having little girls protect him angers him even more.
Mina realizes that the villain has gotten more powerful, with Kyoka assuming that his Quirk turns strong emotions into bursts of energy and that he's powering up. The villain attacks and while the girls seem defeated, they choose to eat the sugar bombs Haishin was giving away, surprising him after they just turned him down. Powered by the calories they ate, the U.A. girls unleash a "High-Calorie Desperate Attack", taking the villain down. Haishin is happy to see the girls triumph over the villain, recognizing them as Heroes.[1]
