Synopsis[]
While Fat Gum, Tamaki Amajiki and Eijiro Kirishima are patrolling Esuha City, a fight breaks out. Fat Gum neutralises the majority of the villains and Tamaki knocks out a villain with his Manifest Quirk. Suddenly, a man shoots Tamaki with a Quirk-erasing drug to save his friends. The man shoots a second time at Tamaki, only for the bullet to bounce off Eijiro, who took the bullet trying to save Tamaki using Hardening.[1] With Tamaki's Quirk being erased, the man escapes, chased down by Eijiro. The thug attacks him, but Eijiro gets the upper hand. After his apparent defeat, the man starts crying and cursing his own weak Quirk, creating a sense of empathy within Eijiro for the man. Suddenly, the man injects himself with Trigger and blades spike out from his body. Eijiro protects himself and activates Unbreakable.[2] He quickly defeats the man, but he escapes once again, only to be stopped by Fat Gum.[3]

- Esuha's name may be a reference to Mos Espa from the Star Wars universe.
- Esuha has a very similar appearance to Dōtonbori, in Osaka, Japan.
