Summary[]

Meryl watching the weather report

Meryl checks how events in Japan are affecting the weather in the US.

Whether they're glued to the screen, hearing about it in passing, or juggling other responsibilities on top of tuning in, the world still holds its breath as the live broadcast continues of what appears to be end of the former Symbol of Peace, All Might, at the hands of All For One. The Villain slowly and giddily starts to split his torso in two, and the wrecked man spits up blood as the wound to his stomach scar tears open even more, while thinking about the warning Sir Nighteye gave about his death several years ago.

As the windstorm starts picking up on the battlefield, and the rest of the weather around the globe starts warping as a result of all the battles in Japan; the world is about to watch this earth-shattering event shift its course with the power of just one person.

Izuku launchs Katsuki

Deku uses Gearshift on Dynamight.

With a brief look at each other and zero exchange of words, Deku and the newly revived Dynamight realize what needs to be done and move in to position themselves. Dynamight flies down to Deku from the Coffin in the Sky, as the other boy swings close to him and stretches out his left arm, while still keeping Tomura restrained with Blackwhip. The two boys lock hands and exchange looks once more, as they swing and angle themselves in the direction of All For One and All Might.

The Second User picks up on what Deku's trying to do, and warns him about using Gearshift at this moment, due to the recoil and the fact that he advised on using it when the path to victory against Tomura is in sight. The man stops as he notices at the partially solidified vestige of All Might and holds his tongue before looking on in understanding.

Tomura mocks Izuku's efforts

Tomura assures Deku that All Might is destined to die.

Deku then activates Gearshift's Second Gear on Dynamight, as the latter begins storing up Cluster Explosions in his palms. With impeccable timing and a mighty swing, Deku flings his classmate towards their target at breakneck speeds, as Dynamight blitzes through the ruined city while pushing his acceleration to the limit with his Explosive Speed: Cluster.

Deku then readjusts his hold and attention on Tomura, as the Villain brags that his archenemy's friend won't save All Might in time, assuring that his death is set in stone due to his solidifying vestige, and that his dream will go along with it and be swallowed up by reality once All For One ends his life.

Katsuki saves Toshinori

Against all odds, Dynamight saves All Might from the clutches of All For One.

Same as before when Sir Nighteye foresaw Deku's death at the hands of Overhaul, a strong vision of a brighter future molds together from the collective wishes of several people and changes fate for the better, as Dynamight closes in and rescues All Might from certain death. All For One stares at the unfathomable sight as he's bathed in fire and his freshly torn off arms fly outward, and All Might's vestige returns back to its initial, golden form.

All Might looks at his student in shock, as his rescuer screams out that they're going to win this. All Might once again hallucinates Sir Nighteye speaking to him, asking if this was the moment he was supposed to die, and his dream of being a symbol was to go along with it. The vision of his former Sidekick confirms his theory, but explains that fate twisted things around, and while the dream still came to an end, the man who worked tirelessly for it still lives on, in service of the promises he made to his successor and his mother.

Nighteye urges All Might to continue living

Sir Nighteye's vision tells his former companion to continue living.

All Might says his mark for death should've gotten in the way regardless, as its typical for precursors with grand responsibilities to die when they pass the torch on to their proteges. Sir Nighteye says that type of thing only happens in comic books, which prompts All Might to ask why he's making the "conversation" play out like this. As the man comes back to his senses, the vision of Sir Nighteye says it's simply because he's both Hero and human, so he doesn't get to die so easily.

All Might and Dynamight then slow down and tumble on the roof of a building, as the worldwide audience breathes a sigh of relief for the former Symbol of Peace's safety, with some even recognizing Dynamight as the man's savior. All Might asks the boy if he's alright, with Dynamight quipping that the man's question was his line to say.

Edgeshot exits Katsuki's Body

Edgeshot re-emerges after saving Dynamight's life.

The boy then pukes up a puddle of blood, as Edgeshot proclaims that it's his line too. The Ninja Hero, now severely weakened and reduced to nothing but a puny head on top of a ragged "thread", snakes himself out of the suture he made on Dynamight's chest. He tells the boy that he forced out the blood caused by his internal bleeding to make him comfortable, and after he too question's the boy's condition, he coughs before detaching from his body and falling into a puddle.

As he struggles to regulate his breathing, Edgeshot tells Dynamight that he has done everything he could to repair each broken bone and ruptured organ, and his "Hidden Hakamada Style" stitching will make sure nothing he did to his body will unravel and cause more damage. He then expresses his sympathies, aware that each breath Dynamight takes must be excruciating, and any movement won't make it much better. Dynamight thanks Edgeshot for keeping him alive, but the Hero believes that even though the work was delicate and grueling, all he really did was patch someone up.

All Might gives Katsuki his last piece of armor

All Might transfers his armored arm to Dynamight.

He asserts that Dynamight jumpstarted his vital organs on his own, as during the emergency surgery, when hope and both of their lives were hitting their limits, he saw the sparking beads of the boy's explosive sweat rushing through his blood and heading straight for the heart, before they jolted the Hero's patient awake.

Dynamight then looks up at the sky and wonders if that floating kid really is All For One, which All Might confirms shortly after. He then extends his armored right arm, and asks the boy to come over and take his hand, since he can't move due to Bloodcurdle still being active. Dynamight obliges and walks over to All Might before kneeling down, who says that while his last remaining part of the Armored All Might has lost its primary function, it can still function as a splint for his student's crushed right arm.

Katsuki can't hide his joy

Dynamight genuinely smiles at being recognized by his idol.

The device then reshapes itself around Dynamight's arm, as All Might says the piece's name: Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, before admitting that this all he has left to give to him. The explosive-turned-splint's namesake then looks at the former No. 1 Hero, before flashing a pure, bright smile back at him.

Up above, a furious All For One wonders if he should still go for the kill on All Might as his arms regenerate. While tempting, he decides to leave them be and starts rushing back in the opposite direction in order to finish what he's started in regards to powering up Tomura and taking One For All through him. The boy's anger continues to bubble, as he's livid that things aren't going is away despite how flexible and elaborate his planning is, thanks to the efforts of the "insignificant" Heroes getting in his way.

Katsuki becomes All For One's final boss

Dynamight is eager to give All For One the beating of his life.

The Villain doesn't get too far, as Dynamight immediately blasts forward and catches up to him, declaring that he's the final boss of this fight before gripping All For One's head and blasting him down to the streets with a supercharged explosion. As the Villain starts getting flashbacks to his final moments with the Second User, much like "Tomura" did with his own fight with Dynamight, the boy screams out that he's here to finish the job that One For All started. All Might marvels at the boy's enhanced speed due to his Quirk awakening, as Edgeshot fills him in on the details and says that the student was coming to some sort of realization as it happened.

Slowly, the fights starts to turn back towards the Heroes' favor, as Naomasa's men officially report the apprehension of Spinner and the treatment for the injured during the riot at Central Hospital, the disabling of the Near High-Ends on Okuto Island, the defeat the Kunieda and rescuing of the other Heroes by Invisible Girl and Can't Stop Twinkling, and the arresting of Skeptic. Additionally, all the civilians have been fully evacuated to Shiketsu High School, and all the Villains at the ruins of Jaku General Hospital have been pacified. However, the Heroes fighting Gashly Eijiju at Takoba National Stadium are still struggling on, and Kurogiri, along with Eraser Head and Present Mic, are still unaccounted for.

Tomura after freeing himself from Blackwhip

Tomura assures that he will destroy him again, over and over.

Back on the battlefield, as All For One recovers from the blast, Dynamight powers through the intense pain that his Quirk is putting him through in order to keep piling on his Explosions to exponentially boost his attack power. From afar, Tomura calmy remarks that Dynamight is as stubborn as a cockroach for not going so down easily. The Villain then effortlessly breaks out of Blackwhip's bindings and rubs his neck, nonchalantly promising to repeat what he did to Dynamight in their earlier fight as many times as he needs to.

Deku looks on and thinks over his options, now that his deadlock with Tomura is broken and can he longer keep a safe distance from him with Danger Sense. Additionally, he still hasn't figured out a way to bypass the Villain's Super Regeneration and the instantaneous nature of Decay. Acknowledging that he's hit the point of no return now that he's activated Gearshift again, Deku locks his hands together and fires up Transmisson once more. The four combatants then ready themselves, as they prepare to go beyond.

Katsuki isn't going to let All For One get away

No matter how hard he tries to evade him, All For One can't get rid of Dynamight.

All For One wastes no time continuing his rush towards Tomura and Deku, but Dynamight still has him in his sights and mind. With some quick thinking, the boy is able to use the pain of his internal sweat crackling through his body to time a colossal blast on the outside to instantly catch up to the Villain. Despite him bleeding out, and his body grinding across the freeway and crashing through several buildings, Dynamight simply laughs at how fast he's going and promises aloud that he isn't stopping anytime soon. He then thinks about his earlier thoughts about whether or not he can catch up to Izuku, and as he pops out of another building adjacent to All For One, he wonders why it now feels possible to surpass his classmate.

Down at Shiketsu High School, the evacuees watch in awe at Dynamight's efforts, as Mitsuki urges her husband to watch their child fight. Masaru refuses to look with tears in eyes, saying that he can't force himself to see their son fight that monster. His wife urges him to do it anyway, cause even now, their boy still has that signature, passionate, battle-hungry smile on his face.

Katsuki blasts All For One

Dynamight sets off a massive Explosion that sends All For One crashing onto a building.

As Dynamight fires up another powerful Explosion from his hands, All For One's mind begins to crumble, as he can't understand why someone he wrote off as so ignorable, who's abilities he deemed weaker than Endeavor and Tsukuyomi's Dark Shadow, is flooding his body with so much intense hatred, that it dwarfs the feeling the Villain gets from engaging with All Might.

All For One then realizes that Dynamight reminds him of One For All's Second User, and flashes back to the end of his final fight with the latter, just before the Villain killed him. Among a slew of fallen, the resistance soldier, with blood on face and being choked out by his sworn enemy, tells All For One that he can't get Yoichi back, as his brother's gone and the Villain was responsible for his death. Running on the fumes and the resurfacing rage he felt back then at the demise off his brother and Yoichi's happenstance meeting with the Second User, All For One can barely keep himself together as Dynamight blasts the boy into a tower.

It's all your fault Kudo!!

"It's all your fault, Kudo!"

From the rubble, All For One recalls the moment he saw the Second User run off with his brother, before deliriously shouting that this is all his fault while screaming his name: Kudo. Dynamight yells out that the Villain has completely lost his mind and corrects him on the name he should be referring to him as: "Kacchan Bakugo".
