Summary[]

Iwao taking care of his wife

Knuckleduster talking to his hospitalized wife.

In the Naruhata Disaster Medical Center, an unmasked Knuckleduster is speaking to a sickly woman with an eyepatch in a hospital room; she is staring blankly out the window and seemingly disacknowledging her visitor. He softly admits that while things are rough for the both of them, there are a few things he now looks forward to each day. He's given more thought to the way he lives, he's got a few hobbies and friends, and at the moment he's spending more time with his family. Though, the one thing he regrets is that he didn't come around to this sooner.

A nurse then walks in and calls for a Mr. and Mrs. Oguro, revealing part of the Vigilante's real name and that the patient is his wife. As the doctor explains the grim prognosis of his spouse's impaired cognitive state, Knuckleduster begins to tune it out. All he can think about during this was the moment that led to the woman's hospitalization, when he arrived home to find his wife collapsed on the ground and coated in a swarm of bees, with Kuin Hachisuka standing on the other side of her and smiling devilishly at the man.

Soga searchs Tamao Oguro

Soga looking for "Kuin Hachisuka".

Elsewhere, Soga is outside of Kuin's private school, which has just let out for the day. He shows a photo of Kuin in middle school and asks the passing students if they've seen the girl recently, though he doesn't get any leads and only makes the children uncomfortable. Kuin's friends notice Soga and wonders if the thug is trying to prey on their friend or the other girls in their school, though the man is chased off by faculty before their worries begin to boil over. As the black-haired student expresses some relief, she then notices that her classmate has seemingly ran off without a trace.

Soga then takes a walk through the city, before the missing student calls out to him from an alleyway and asks what he wants with Kuin. The girl assumes he wants her to fulfill indecent intentions, but Soga just says he's looking for the high school student to fulfill another person's request. The student's demeanor then turns sultry and asks Soga why she's bothering picking the brain of a simple errand boy.

Soga Kugisaki vs. Controlled Girl

Soga falls into Kuin's trap.

The girl then begins to lift up her skirt, which sends Soga into a flustered panic as he asks her to put "that" away, but she stops short as a swarm of Kuin's bees begin to fly out from under her garment. She tells Soga that he's the only thing she plans on putting away, as the girl collapses and the bees prepare to attack the man again.

Soga came prepared, as he pulls out a can of insecticide and stabs it with his claws, letting out a massive billow of chemicals to hopefully kill the bees. He then stumbles out of the cloud and into the open the street, with the insects unfazed and still hot on his tail.

Ignition

Moyuru and Rapt arrive in time to save Soga.

Some are then incinerated by a stream of flames coming out of nowhere, and Soga turns to see Rapt and Moyuru on motorcycles, with the latter toasting the bugs with his Ignition Quirk. The lizard man tosses his friend a helmet and tells him to hop on his bike, as the trio speed off and escape the swarm. Soga tells his friends that the situation has nothing to do them, with the two jokingly telling the spike-fisted man not to hog all the fun for himself.

Back at the hospital, Knuckleduster tells his wife about the update on the condition from the doctor and warmly tells her that the man still has a chance of being wrong about her condition now stagnating without any foreseeable signs of improvement. Mrs. Oguro then mutters as she continues looking out the window, "telling" her daughter to hurry home as she and her husband are getting worried about her. Knuckleduster places a hand on her shoulder and says that they'll be able to see "Tamao" soon, as he has a plan to bring her back.

Soga reunites with Knuckleduster

Soga informs Knuckleduster of his latest finds.

In the waiting room, Soga meets back up with Knuckleduster, with the thug complaining that his "Takeshi Kuroiwa" alias made him difficult to get a hold of. Outside, he asks the man to tell him his real name so it won't be a hassle to reach him. The Vigilante just brushes it off and tells the street thug not to stick his nose into other people's business.

Soga moves on to tell Knuckleduster what he dug up on Kuin, being the private school she attends and her last name. The older man realizes the name is an alias, but thanks Soga for the info since it's better than nothing. The thug then tells Knuckleduster that he too is sticking his nose into other people's business and wonders if he's worried at all that Koichi and Kazuho could get caught up in his mess.

Soga, Moyuru and Rapt chating in the park

Moyuru and Rapt advise their friend not to get involved with "Freaky Fist Grandpa".

Knuckleduster says he's not planning on dragging his teammates directly into this, as they're already fulfilling their role as bait for new leads due to their rambunctious actions and personalities. Soga is shocked that the man would use his teammates like that, which only makes Knuckleduster suggest that Soga play the part of "a goofball running around in an All Might hoodie" to lure out the Villain. After his informant spits on and rejects the idea, Knuckleduster walks off, glad that they "sorted" that conundrum out.

Later in the evening, Soga is sharing a smoke with his friends at the park, as Rapt and Moyuru advise him to keep himself out of trouble by staying away from Trigger and his work with "Freaky Fist Grandpa". They then see The Crawler walking up to and wanting to catch up with Soga, with Pop close behind and complaining to her friend that he's exposing himself out in the open. As Rapt and Pop start squabbling over her revealing costume, Moyuru is surprised their former enemy is still so chummy with his friend after their less-than-savory first encounters, but The Crawler says it's nothing to him since so much has changed since they first met. Soga then gets up without responding and walks up, leaving The Crawler and Moyuru befuddled.

Kuin returning to her corpse family

Kuin watches the news with her "family".

Later that night, Kuin enters her "home" and greets her "parents", which are just two withered corpses of a random married couple she killed. The girl tells them that a stalker came to her school in search of her, and hands back her "father's" maxed out credit card before turning on the TV and snacking on junk food. As she watches the news report on the classmate she possessed with Queen Bee, Kuin says she's growing tired of Naruhata and thinks its time for her to "buzz off".

Meanwhile, in a warehouse, Knuckleduster is rigorously training alone. As he stops to take a quick break, he smiles at the physical photo of Kuin in middle school and promises to see her soon.

Kazuho tells Koichi of an email request

Kazuho receives an email request from her blog.

The next morning, Kazuho receives a business e-mail on her blog, requesting her to perform as Pop☆Step on the roof of the Marukane Department Store. Koichi congratulates her on the offer, but Kazuho is nervous since she's only used to doing street performances instead of professional ones.

The college student tells her not to worry since she has a huge fanbase to support her, but the girl says that she'll be stacked up to other people and possibly hated if she takes a gig like this. Koichi then suggests she skip it entirely, though Kazuho says she won't get another opportunity such as this down the line if she does.

Koichi asks Knuckleduster for advice (Anime)

To avoid Kazuho's wrath, Koichi asks Knuckleduster for advice.

She then asks Koichi what to do, and the boy begins to panic at how she might react to his responses, as if he gives her a compliment or tells her to drop the idea, Kazuho might hit him for being generic or unsupportive respectively. He then asks Knuckleduster for his take on the matter, which causes Kazuho to bark at the idea of the older man giving his opinion.

The seasoned Vigilante says it's better to try and fail than never try at all and tells Koichi to support the girl however he can. He then throws on his coat and playfully taps his newspaper on Kazuho's head, before telling her she's got this and takes off. Koichi comments on how strangely direct Knuckleduster is, though Kazuho tells him to forget about it and get back to the topic.

Koichi asks Makoto for help

Koichi brings Makoto to help them.

Once they get to business, Koichi's first idea of helping out his teammate is inviting Makoto as a creative consultant. The young woman shakes the high school student's hand and cheers over the idea of working with Pop☆Step, which makes her accost Koichi for leaking her secret identity to his classmate. Koichi explains Makoto easily figured out his and Kazuho's alter egos after the Monster Cat incident, and after settling down, Makoto says she'll keep their private info secure, as all she wants to do his help the aspiring idol out professionally.

After mulling it over, and realizing she has no one else reliable to go to for her issues, Kazuho sheepishly shakes Makoto's hand and solidifies their partnership. After pulling up the offer on her laptop, the woman notes its capacity of 300 people and the fact that an outdoor food court will be ran simultaneously, likening it to more of dinner-and-a-show event rather than a full-blown concert.

Captain Celebrity defeats a villain (Anime)

Captain Celebrity defeats a giant enemy crab.

With how lax the atmosphere is, coupled with the fact that the store is most likely to contact local performers and indie artists, Koichi and Makoto believe that the offer isn't as intimidating as Kazuho is making it out to be. The amateur idol then says the gravity of the event makes things come off like she's being made fun of, which leads her business partner to suggest upping the ante of the venue to show what the girl is truly capable of.

Meanwhile, a flying crab Villain is soaring through the sky, before he is approached by Captain Celebrity and the band of delinquent middle schoolers that became part of his new branding. While still not used to the sudden shifts in character he has to make for his image, Captain Celebrity makes quick work of the Villain while his posse chants and cheers him on.

Captain Celebrity gets a call from Makoto

Makoto offers C.C. a proposal to improve his public image.

After the criminal is dealt with, the man gets a call from Makoto. The woman tells her boss that the people of East Naruhata are still reeling from the effects of his earlier fight with the Kaiju Villain, though Captain Celebrity believes he's doing plenty to make up for it with his insurance covering the damages, his aid in the reconstruction efforts, and dealing with the numerous Villains in the area.

Makoto explains that there's always room for more and tells him about an opportunity to improve his standing with the locals, though not specifying it as the event at the department store. Although he's in the dark, Captain Celebrity trusts Makoto's judgement and tells her to do what she has to do and fill him in on the details later.

Kazuho gets extremely nervous

Koichi says that despite her nervousness, Kazuho is eager to sing.

Once she got the Hero's permission, Makoto, who's the chief manager of the Captain Celebrity Corporation, calls the department store's event planner and officially sets up Kazuho's appearance, with plenty of room for them and her boss's team to make some tweaks to the venue and event to support the young girl's performance. After the plan solidifies, Makoto then informs the two that the store's staff wants Pop to join an ensemble performance in singing their jingle.

After showing them an old commercial featuring the song, Kazuho then crumbles at the thought of singing such a "complicated" song in a group, which she's never done before. Koichi then accepts the offer on his friend's behalf, with Makoto giving them a thumbs up and promises to get the details ironed out with the other ensemble members.

Koichi gets hit in the stomach by a nervous Pop

"Don't say something half-assed!"

Later, the two Vigilantes meet up with Ichimoku and Jube at the park, with the two middle schoolers congratulating their idol on scoring the gig at the store. While Pop thinks it's no big deal, the two promise to gather all their friends together to support both her and Captain Celebrity. She then shrinks up in nervousness once again, and as The Crawler tells her that things will work out in the end, as expected, Pop slugs him the arm for giving her a generic compliment.

In the inner city, Kuin is reading the flyer for the event on her phone and alludes to the idea of wreaking havoc on the place with her bees for the fun. Suddenly, the girl shuts her eyes and flinches in pain, before immediately changing her mind and saying the outdoor concert is too boring to crash. As she walks down the street, Kuin asks why she cared so much about it in the first place if she was going to blow it off in the end, absentmindedly blaming it on "the old man's" dumb face. She then somewhat walks back on it again and considers bringing her swarm together to makes things interesting at the very least.

Knuckleduster finally finds Kuin

Knuckleduster finally finds Kuin.

The part-time Villain is then spotted on the road by one of her friends, who asks about the status of the girl that ended up attacking Soga in the alley, as all she knows is that their classmate suddenly disappeared and hasn't been coming to school. Kuin simply says she doesn't have a clue and continues walking while her friend joins her.

On top of a building, Knuckleduster spots Kuin with a pair of goggles, smiling crazily at the girl and glad that she's still "buzzing around town".
