Appearance[]
En was a fairly short man with short, dark hair parted twice away from his narrow eyes.
His hero costume consists of a large red jacket with numerous straps and buttons, and a high collar that obscures his mouth and nose similar to Best Jeanist. Accompanying this are dark, fairly-baggy pants and large white hiking boots. His forearms are also wrapped in sports tape.

Personality[]
En is a reserved but friendly individual. He is well-aware of the limitations of his Quirk, guiding Izuku Midoriya on how to best use it in conjunction with his other Quirks. Given that he resisted having One For All stolen by All For One, En presumably has extremely strong willpower.
Upon first meeting the Pro Hero Lariat and learning about the existence of One For All, En without hesitation voiced his desire to assist, despite the former's reluctance, and eventually had the Quirk passed onto him when Lariat fell in battle against All For One.
En demonstrated a proactiveness in the battles against All For One, as he started up a new resistance movement of Heroes, including Gran Torino and Nana Shimura's husband, to take him down. Even when En himself was killed fighting All For One, being sliced in half, he still was able to pass the Quirk on to Nana, going out with a smile on his face.
Despite his general friendliness, he has shown to let his emotions get the better of him. After Hikage Shinomori's vestige and Danger Sense was stolen by Tomura Shigaraki, he was the one to voice out that Izuku should prioritize his own safety and flee the battle, fearing it hopeless. He also expressed partial self-deprecation at his Smokescreen Quirk, viewing it as the weakest of the One For All Quirks, and thus he should be sacrificed first. However, he is brought to tears by Izuku using it in a creative way to battle Tomura, demonstrating it is capable of being just as useful as the others.
Abilities[]
Overall Abilities: The full extent of En's abilities are unknown, but as a One For All user he can be assumed to be quite strong. However, he wasn't strong enough to defeat All For One.
Enhanced Endurance: Even being cut in half by All For One, En was able to survive long enough to transfer One For All to Nana Shimura with his hair.
Trained Muscles: Usage of One For All requires the user to have strong muscles, as One For All is a lot to handle and could cause the user's body to be blown apart if they don't possess the necessary strength of the body.
Indomitable Will: En has resisted All For One trying to steal One For All from him twice, demonstrating the sheer strength of his will.

Smokescreen (
One For All (ワン・フォー・オール Wan Fō Ōru?): Transferred to him from Daigoro, En's second Quirk allowed him to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, allowing him to significantly enhance all of his physical abilities to a superhuman level. This resulted in unbelievable levels of strength, speed, agility, and durability.

Trivia[]
- The kanji in En's name means "smoke" (煙 en?), a reference to his Quirk. His surname contains the kanji for "shake, vibration, tremor, flickering" (揺 tayu?), "debauchery" (蕩 ta?), and "well" (井 i?); his full surname means "shaking well" (揺蕩井 tayutai?), in reference to something his Quirk does with his smoke.
- En is so far the only user whose name does not possess a kanji in conjunction to what number user they are. However, in the Kun'yomi reading of the kanji, it can also be pronounced like "Kemuri" (けむり), which contains "mu" (む mu?), which is also "six" (六 Mu?) in the Kun'yomi method.
- His surname should not be confused with the Filipino word tayutay, meaning a figure of speech (e.g., simile, metaphor, personification, hyperbole, etc.).
- En is the fourth previous One For All user whose Quirk was revealed.
