Dozaemon (ドザエモン Dozaemon?)[2] is an E-rank villain,[1] and is one of roughly seventy villains recruited by the League of Villains for the U.S.J. Incident, making him a minor antagonist of the U.S.J. Arc.
Appearance[]
Dozaemon is a tall, muscular man. He wears a black, full body wetsuit with shoulder pads, accompanied by grey gloves and armored boots. He has a pale, noseless, white face with grooves under the eyes, sunken eye sockets, and the lower jaw pushed underneath the upper region, giving his face the appearance of a skull. Adding to this are blue eyes with white pupils, red markings on the cranium, a wide set of lipless teeth, and a gold, armor-like piece surrounding his entire lower head. He also wears a belt with his face's design.
Personality[]
While initially he advised his comrades to be wary of the students given their lack of knowledge on them, Dozaemon was depicted as still being an impatient villain in the end. He was the first to attack the boat Izuku Midoriya and his classmates were stranded on due to being sick of waiting to kill them. He's also shown to have a great handling and understanding of his abilities, telling his associates that the students were at a heavy disadvantage in the water based on their Quirks.
Synopsis[]
U.S.J. Arc[]
After invading the U.S.J., Dozaemon was apart of the group of villains to head to the Flood Zone, as their Quirks give them an advantage in that area. There, he waits patiently until Izuku Midoriya is thrown into that water by Kurogiri. Dozaemon and the other villains surround the boat but they do not dare to board it because they do not know the Quirks of the students, even warning Bye-Bites about not rushing in just yet. However, he was confident they could take the students in this fight.[3] This gives Izuku some time to come up with a plan to escape.
After a while, Dozaemon attacks the ship in impatience, waiting with the other villains until the ship completely sinks so he can attack Izuku and his classmates. Faced with this situation, Izuku put his plan into action. He uses Delaware Smash on the surface of the water creating a whirlpool that drags in the villains. Minoru then uses his Quirk to launch a large number of sticky spheres into the water, causing all the villains in the water to be stuck together. With her Frog Quirk, Tsuyu escapes the area along with Izuku and Minoru, while the villains are unable to do anything and thus defeated.[4] Dozaemon, along with the rest of the recruited villains, ends up arrested.
Final War Arc[]
Due to All For One's and the other Tartarus escapees attack on seven prisons throughout Japan, numerous convicts were freed from six of them.[5] Dozaemon would be one of these escaped convicts and would eventually join under his former boss once more in the attempt to capture Izuku. He was warped to the Troy parking lot to assist with this, but it turned out to be a trap by the Heroes to split up the Villains. Dozaemon found himself being warped to Okuto Island's aquarium, being apart of a fight against a horde of Heroes that awaited them. [6]
He was later arrested with the rest of the villains on Okuto Island.[7]
Abilities[]
Quirk[]
Water Control (?): Dozaemon's Quirk allows him to control and manipulate water. Dozaemon uses his abilities to execute a plethora of water-based attacks, such as forming water into sharp claws and sending powerful torrents of water towards his opponent.[1]
