Rejection (
Summary[]
As Deku charges toward Tomura once more, Yoichi notices how their memories are blending together, figuring that because One For All and All For One have already been rapidly resonating with each other, Kudo's transfer has caused it to reach a critical point. Yoichi thinks about how in order to claim One For All, his brother sought its soul, but no matter how much power he amassed, the soul resides right in them. And now, they face the ultimate villain, with armor forged from malice and hatred, and putting a stop to the heinous calamity is the reason they have been woven into this chain of power, and why they are here now.
One For All's transfer is bounced back, with only En making it through.
As memories of the U.S.J. Incident flash through their minds, Deku and Tomura scream each other's names, as Deku executes another point-blank punch into Tomura's stomach. However, only En manages to enter the system and pierce through the scar, with Deku realizing the transfer was rejected. Daigoro says that with Tomura having a strong enough will to steal them, it would make sense it's strong enough to reject them too. But, due to En still being able to break through, Tomura was still damaged, letting them realize he can't completely shut them out. Deku thinks about how he wishes he could take advantage of his giant fingers that are rapidly growing around Tomura, but he had to break through them both times to achieve the transfer, and wouldn't be able to transfer through them since they'd count as dead nails or grime. He then notices a giant vision of Tenko walking with someone, knowing he's getting there, and just has to keep trying as much as it takes, as the two prepare to face off again.
Meanwhile, the fight is being broadcast by a drone piloted by Mei Hatsume, who talks about how she is able to make use of it through their satellite upbringings, boasting about U.A.'s performance even when on the fritz. She talks to La Brava about how she had created it a while back to tell Deku about his gloves, mentioning how he's her client, so she has to keep observing him to provide better service, while La Brava says he's the one who got her beloved arrested, which ended up making him even more wonderful to her, so she has to support him too. At this same time, U.A. is slowly crash landing into the ocean, as Gentle and Cementoss help escort everyone out of the building, while the Business Course students watch the fight on their phones in shock. Elsewhere at the Evacuation Shelter, the civilians are watching the same events, while Ectoplasm turns to see Eri running toward something.
