Rejecting the World ( (こば) んだ () (かい) Kobanda Sekai?) is the three hundred and ninety-first chapter of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia.

Summary[]

The Twice Doubles continue to rant that "All Heroes Must Die!" as they increase their swarm on the battlefield. Pixie-Bob uses her Earth Flow Quirk to try and halt them, but she and the rest of the Heroes are consumed by the seemingly never-ending Sad Man's Death Parade, due to Himiko Toga continuously cloning herself. While the Heroes have no idea how much blood she has in stock that will allow her to keep up her Transform, they know it doesn't matter since if they falter just once, then the ocean of clones will wash them all away. On the outskirts of the battlefield, the injured Todoroki Family, Ingenium, and Hawks sense the Doubles presence increasing.

Uravity refuses to let Himiko go.

Uravity refuses to let Himiko go.

Meanwhile in the center of the storm, Uravity emerges from the swarm of Doubles to reach the real Himiko at the top. Himiko wonders what happened to Dabi, if he met his end and if she lost someone again. Just then, Uravity uses her wire to attach to Himiko's arm, using Spacewalk to swing herself around to reach her. She cries out that while they haven't shared much with each other since the last summer they first met, but she has had a big change of heart.

Himiko responds once again that it's too late, but Uravity states she knows that she's been crying and knows the reason why she can't do the things Twice could do. She remembers back to Froppy's theory that her "love" didn't extend to the other Villains, but after seeing her tears, she realizes it is because she mixed her feelings with bloodlust, so she is not working off "pure love". Himiko is shocked hearing this, to the point of part of her face becoming exposed, yelling to Uravity about how she doesn't know the first thing about her, pulling someone up to surprise her.

Chapter Notes[]

  • Himiko and the Doubles use Sad Man's Death Parade to gain the upper hand against the Heroes, as the storm increases further beyond the battlefield.
  • Uravity reaches Himiko, telling her the reason she can't fully become Twice is because she has mixed her bloodlust with her feelings of love, further enraging her.
