Deku vs. All For One (デク
Summary[]
Deku follows the jets' path to the final battle.
While on his way toward U.A., Deku is encountered by the American fleet, planning to escort him back to the Flying Fortress. As Deku uses Blackwhip to sling to the side of the jet, the Bravo Leader informs him they were meant to defend the aerial space around U.A., further saying that they've remained in Japan even despite their orders to retreat because "their gal" decided to wager everything on him, having inherited All Might's power. The fleet proceeds to create a path for Deku to swing off of, telling him to go so he can take down the greatest villain once and for all.
Deku's emotions overwhelm his Quirks.
Arriving at the battlefield, Deku smashes directly into "Tomura", to Lemillion's delight. "Tomura" realizes he's stronger than before, noticing the glow around him being familiar, recognizing it as "The Third's Quirk". "Tomura" ends up slamming back into the electromagnetic barrier as it's closed with Deku inside.
Deku apologizes for being late asking if everyone is okay, only to see an unconscious Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight lying on the battlefield, causing him to go into shock. Seeing all the other barely conscious Heroes sends Deku into a further induced stress, while "Tomura" mocks him for his tardiness, figuring that Himiko had something to do with it, and asking if he has any excuses or reasons to run away from his responsibilities like everyone else.
"All For One... is Shigaraki... still in there?"
The fear and rage starts to once again overwhelm Deku as his Quirks begin to spiral out of control, with "Tomura" knowing that in this state of anger his movements will be predictable, meaning a well-placed counter-attack will easily finish him off. He begins to walk his way toward him, asking if he likes his "presents", when Lemillion reappears to Deku. He attempts to talk some sense into him, telling him that everyone is still breathing and that Edgeshot is saving Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight's life, so they need to keep on fighting because they haven't lost anyone yet.
"Tomura" claims it's all merely "empty talk" to avoid facing facts and reality, but Lemillion continues that as Heroes, they have to talk the talk in order to turn their ideals into reality. Remembering back to All Might's words of encouragement, and "the Fifth's" words to keep his emotions under control, Deku calms down and comes to his senses, apologizing to Lemillion. He then confronts "All For One", with the vestiges of the One For All users backing him up, asking if Tomura is still in there.
