Summary[]
"Wounded heroes... are always the scariest."
All For One manages to barely protect himself as Endeavor's fiery assault continues to consume him. He thinks about how he knew he might go hard on him, but never expected Endeavor would be the one to make him relive the pain he had when he originally faced All Might, reminding himself that a wounded hero is always the scariest.
Thanks to Hawks' wings pushing Endeavor forward, he's able to catch All For One off guard, unleashing a Vanishing Jet Burn, blasting All For One downwards onto the Gunga Mountain. On the ground the Heroes are surprised by the attack, while in the air, Hawks asks Endeavor why he didn't finish him off with Prominence Burn. Endeavor remarks that he had his guard up, and since he can't use it as many times as he wants, he needs to break through his defenses to ensure it connects.
Endeavor blasts himself downward after All For One, causing Kamui Woods and the remaining Heroes to flee and get out of the way of their incoming rampage. Endeavor grabs All For One, dragging him all throughout the forest. Due to his mask being destroyed and his body not listening to him, All For One tries to grab Endeavor and steal his Quirk, but he proceeds to shoot fire from his eyes, burning his hand.
Endeavor states that all his hands do is ruin people's futures, to which All For One claims he does too, with Endeavor agreeing. He thinks about how Toya is the result of his mistakes and led to many stolen futures. He declares that since the future is the path for the youth, he will win this so that the past won't get in the way of their future.
"Villains... are also the scariest when wounded."
Endeavor says he will keep paying his penance so he can keep looking after Toya, all the while his rage will continue to burn, blasting All For One with a Prominence Burn. Holding his crisped remains, he thinks about how they already confirmed he doesn't have any Hyper Regeneration, but even if he did, there's no surviving that attack without a body like Tomura's. But then, Hawks cries out to Endeavor to get away.
All For One suddenly begins to speak, asking if he believed he would show up to the big battle empty-handed. With his body having served its purpose and destined to be scrapped anyway, he decides to test something out, as images of Eri and the Quirk-Destroying Drug begin to appear. As an eye and an ear emerge from his body, with a grinning smile, All For One asks what made him think Heroes were the only ones to make "sacrificial moments", and that Villains are also scariest when wounded.
Elsewhere, Yoichi Shigaraki senses something amiss and contacts the still soaring Deku, telling him he has a bad feeling, as several figures from the distance begin to make their way over to him.
