Culmination (到達点 Tōtatsuten?) is the one hundred and ninth chapter of Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court's My Hero Academia: Vigilantes.

Summary

Koichi evades Number 6's onslaught of bombs.

The O'Clock illusion warns Number 6 that he’s too focused on mimicking O’Clock’s fighting style, and against a “variant” like Koichi, he must think ahead to box him into a corner. Transforming himself to reveal several extra arms, he creates an arsenal of bombs along his body, which he uses the arms to throw into the air, distracting Koichi enough for him to throw more bombs toward his feet, forcing him to jump out of the way.

Dodging the bombs, Koichi thinks the ones in the air were just a feint, only to realize the ones on the ground were meant to force him into the air, where the bombs explode like a midair minefield. He manages to escape by blasting into the air, and as Number 6 throws another wave of bombs toward him, he uses his Shooty-Go-Kablam to shoot them down, though resulting in leaving him drained and having a rough landing.

He continues to speed away, leaving “O’Clock” to figure that the grenades were not the key to victory, so Number 6 decides to use a different type of bomb. Back at the hospital, the Police Force have been carefully trying to round up the Anonymous, using nets and ropes. Moyuru and Rapt wonder what to do about the others around town, when they notice the five that were captured suddenly starting to squirm out of their restraints.

"O'Clock" schemes.

Koichi suddenly finds himself being chased by a mob of Anonymous, with them being too fast and too many for him to hit with either his Shooty-Go-Blam or Shooty-Go-Kablam, forced to flee. “O’Clock” states that Phase 6 of Operation Anonymous is throwing all available resources at the target, and his current state as the Hi-Crawler allows him to boost Overclock, giving him dynamic control over the Anonymous and simultaneously accelerating his cognitive abilities.

“O’Clock” reminds Number 6 that this is all because he is not an “ordinary person”, with Number 6 thinking about how much his brain has been on fire over hatred directed at Koichi, as his hatred spills out into a web of bloodlust executed by the Anonymous, all targeted at Koichi. “O’Clock”, meanwhile, thinks to himself that changing targets has come at a considerable cost, and while he considers the mission a failure, the experiment has taken an intriguing turn, as a twisted smile emerges, gleefully telling Number 6 to follow his twisted path, seek his culmination, and surpass his every limit.

Chapter Notes
