Armored All Might (アーマードオールマイト Āmādo Ōru Maito?) is a support item used by All Might.[1]

The "Great Explosion Murder God: Dynamight" enhancement is later given to and used by Katsuki Bakugo.[2]

Description[]

Armored All Might is a mechanical suit worn by All Might during the Final War, designed to fight against All For One. It is comprised of several "scale-like" robotic pieces that can be detached and applied, and shares a connection to his car, Hercules.

All Might utilized almost his entire fortune he had saved up to develop the suit and items.[3] The suit was designed by Melissa Shield, based on specs from All Might himself. Each of the tools, gadgets, and weapons are inspired by and named after the students of Class 1-A.[1] This support item is used in the performance of the Shoot Style Smash Ultimate Move.[1]

The armored suit, as well as Hercules, are destroyed over the course of the battle.[4] The data obtained from the battle using this suit was later utilized to develop a new armored suit that was given to Deku.[5]

Trivia[]

  • The design, properties, and function of the suit are directly inspired by the Iron Man suit, worn by the Marvel superhero of the same name.
    • The tentacles spouting from the back of the suit also resemble the Spider-Man villain, Doctor Octopus.
  • While each of the support items are named after all the students of Class 1-A, the exceptions are "Blackwhip", which is named after one of Deku's Quirks from One For All, and "Dark Shadow", which is named after the Quirk itself rather than its user, Tsukuyomi.
    • Kohei Horikoshi later stated regarding "Dark Shadow" that it was a mistake and that it should've been called "Tsukuyomi".[20]
