Aldera Junior High (折 (おる) 寺 (でら) 中学校 Orudera Chūgakkō?) is the school where Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo attended in Musutafu, Japan, before entering U.A. High School.[1]

  • Orudera is similar to the Japanese pronunciation to Alderaan, a notable world in the Star Wars universe.
  • The school's name is spelled in an ateji manner to make it look like a native Japanese name, its two characters meaning "fold" (折) and "temple" (寺).
