The Air Force Gloves were support items invented by Mei Hatsume for Izuku Midoriya.

Description

Izuku's support gloves.

Izuku's support gloves were white gloves with green palms and yellow sights attached to each of the knuckles. They also featured a dual-layered band around the wrist decorated with a blue seam and yellow bolts.

The gloves were created by Mei for Izuku's costume after he requested an upgrade prior to unlocking over 20% of One For All. They were originally one of the numerous prototype gadgets she had made during her time in U.A.; hearing Izuku's request, she altered them to his specifications. Mei created them to work in conjunction with the Iron Soles so Izuku can augment his Full Cowl - Shoot Style.

All Might helped Izuku use his Quirk to attack with concussive wind blasts. Mei created the support gloves to help Izuku focus the blasts so he can pinpoint his target whenever he flicks his fingers to create an air gun.

Combination of the Air Force Gloves with the Mid-Gauntlet.

Whenever Izuku flicked his fingers to create a wind blast, the gloves' outside layer across his wrist jolts forward to funnel Izuku's air blasts to a certain point. The sights on his knuckles serve the same function if Izuku chooses to fire off smaller blasts. Izuku can fire up to four concussive shots at once without any repercussions, unlike his match against Shoto Todoroki where he broke multiple fingers using the same technique.

After Izuku's battle with Tomura Shigaraki during the Paranormal Liberation War, the gloves, along with the arm bracers, were completely destroyed. Mei would later create a new version of the gloves, in conjunction with his destroyed Mid-Gauntlets, for Izuku.
