Acidman (アシッドマン Ashiddoman?) is an Ultimate Move performed by Mina Ashido using the Acid Quirk.

Description[]

After increasing the viscosity of her Quirk, Mina generates a large amount of acid that takes a vaguely anthropomorphic form that covers her entire body. This technique has defensive properties since every attack against Mina will be dissolved by the powerful acid that protects her.[1]

Mina is able to use this move on others, showcased when she used this on Tenya Ida during Class 1-A's fight to bring Izuku Midoriya back to U.A.[2]

Mina mentioned that she was inspired by Eijiro Kirishima's Unbreakable to create this Ultimate Move.[3]

Acidman – Alma Alma (ALMA (アルマ) Aruma?): After increasing the acidity of her Quirk to the maximum, Mina flings her Acidman at an opponent.[4]

Trivia[]

  • This move's name is inspired by the Japanese rock band, Acidman, whose music Kohei Horikoshi loved listening to since he was in high school.[5]
